Transgender Father Decides He Does Not Want To Live As An Adult Anymore, Becomes Six-Year-Old Girl Instead

Making the commitment to live life as a member of the opposite sex and revealing the change to family members and friends can be both tough and relieving at the same time. However, a Canadian man took the decision further, choosing to not only live his life as a woman but also revert back to a 6-year-old.

Stefonknee Wolschtt is a 42-year-old man, his birthed gender, with a wife and seven children. After making the decision to embrace the transgender lifestyle, Stefonknee also decided to leave his wife and children in the process. The marriage lasted for 23 years, according to Metro. In addition to identifying as a woman, the transgender also decided to change her age to 6-years-old since she is starting life over again.

Although now identifying as a female child, Stefonknee does not deny a past life with marriage and children, but also knows that a 6-year-old is not responsible or mature enough to care for a wife and children.

“I can’t deny I was married, I can’t deny I have children. But I’ve gone back to being a child.”

She now lives with her adopted family, who takes care of her.

The Times of India reported that Stefonknee, pronounced as Stephanie, revealed the desire to live life as a transgender to her wife. However, her wife felt betrayed by the reveal and could not accept it. Instead, she gave the ultimatum to either stop being a transgender and forget the lifestyle or simply leave. Stefonknee chose to leave.

“To me, ‘stop being trans’ isn’t something I could do,” she said. “It would be like telling me to stop being 6ft 2 or leave.”

As she left her wife and seven children behind, Stefonknee found a new family who was willing to take her in. The family already has a little daughter in the home. When Stefonknee found that the daughter wished for a little sister, she decided to take on the role and become a 6-year-old girl. The adoptive family thought it was a fantastic idea and welcomed Stefonknee into their home as their newest daughter.

Stefonknee admits that the decision to live life as a woman was a tough one. Being forced to leave her wife of 23 years added to the stress and coerced feelings of rejection. However, her new family has not only lessened that stress but also added a therapeutic layer as well. She also admits that before finding her adoptive family, she attempted suicide twice, failing each time. The second time was just prior to her daughter’s wedding day.

In her new life, Stefonknee does not have any adult responsibilities. She is free to play and goof off like any 6-year-old girl can. She now spends a lot of time with her big sister.

“We have a great time. We colour, we do kid’s stuff. It’s called play therapy. No medication, no suicide thoughts. I just get to play.”

Although she is living her new life as a 6-year-old girl, Stefonknee is still a dedicated Catholic and regularly attends church at the Metropolitan Community Church in Toronto. The mostly LGBT congregation has welcomed Stefonknee with open arms and full support of her decisions.

As can be expected, Stefonknee’s lifestyle change has been met with utter disbelief and dismay from many. Some wondering how she can simply leave her real family so easily, others completely appalled by her lifestyle decision.
