Leah Messer & Jeremy Calvert Back Together? ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Speaks On Twitter After Corey Simms Brings Home Baby

Leah Messer and her second husband, Jeremy Calvert, are getting along great just months after their divorce was finalized, but unfortunately, the Teen Mom 2 star’s relationship with her first husband, Corey Simms, isn’t so civil.

On Twitter earlier this week, Leah Messer spoke of her family after being asked how she was doing with her girls, including twins Ali and Aleeah, 5, and her youngest daughter, Adalynn.

Leah Messer and Calvert spent the weekend together at a singing pageant for Simms’ daughter, Ali, and due to their tweets throughout the event, many fans applauded their co-parenting skills. Below is a message sent to the former pair, which Leah Messer retweeted to her fans.

As Leah Messer continues to enjoy her civil relationship with Calvert, leading to a few rumors regarding their possible reconciliation, her tension with Simms remains.

As fans of Teen Mom 2 will recall, Leah Messer’s first husband filed for full custody of their twin girls in 2014, around the time Calvert announced plans to divorce her after allegedly catching her cheating on him with an ex-boyfriend. Simms also claimed Leah Messer, who was being bombarded by accusations regarding her possible addiction to prescription pain pills, was an unfit parent.

Although custody wasn’t immediately taken from Leah Messer, mainly due to the fact that her prescribed medication didn’t result in a positive drug test, Leah Messer eventually lost primary custody of her twins, with Simms taking over for her during the week, and her own time with the girls being limited to the weekends.

In late August, after accusing Leah Messer of hiding a drug problem on Teen Mom 2, both him and his wife, Miranda, faced backlash from fans. In response, Simms explained his thoughts on Leah Messer’s alleged drug use in a series of tweets, which can be seen below.

“Idk why I’m tweeting this because I honestly do not care what people think or what they say about me but anyways. There is a reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done. We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment. There is a lot of things that has been told to us by very close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true. If we didn’t care about the girls or the situation we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it.”

In addition to his ongoing custody battle with Leah Messer, Simms’ focus has also been on his wife, Miranda, and their new baby. In early November, two months before their daughter’s due date, baby Remi arrived, and remained in the NICU for weeks before she was released from medical care — just in time for the holidays.

Although Simms was accused of having an affair with Leah Messer during his marriage to Miranda, and Leah Messer’s marriage to Calvert, he and Miranda appear to be doing just fine two years later, and seem as happy as they can be now that they’ve started a family of their own with Remi.

Leah Messer and the cast of Teen Mom 2, including Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry, and Jenelle Evans, who announced she was quitting the show midway through production, are currently filming Season 7, which is expected to premiere on MTV sometime next year.
