Kim Kardashian Reveals Her Pregnancy Fears Three Weeks Before Due Date
Kim Kardashian has spoken about her pregnancy fears with just about three weeks to go before she delivers her second child with husband Kanye West.
As the Inquisitr reported earlier, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been living at Kris Jenner’s house because of the ongoing renovation at their Hidden Hills mansion. Kim has had no reservations about opening up about the matter, reportedly revealing in an interview that she was getting increasingly tired of the arrangement. Although earlier news reports suggested that it was, in fact, Kanye West who was going “bonkers” with Kim’s ever-changing plans, credible sources later revealed that Kim was not pleased with her rapper husband’s “childish behavior” at her mama’s house.
What exactly we can glean from that statement by Kim Kardashian is anybody’s guess.
But the real bombshell was dropped Sunday night when Kim revealed something truly frightening on the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
According to E! Online, after Kim’s doctor told her that she had elevated blood pressure, Kim Kardashian shared her pregnancy fears with mother Kris and sister Kourtney.
“Well, they saw a little bit more fluid than normal in my placenta which either could mean that I’m having a carbon tolerance or I have diabetes.”
As can be expected, Kris Jenner was alarmed at the news, even going as far as to suggest that having diabetes could mean a world of trouble for Kim, with possibly even her life at stake.
“Gosh, I hope you don’t have diabetes,” she said. “I had gestational diabetes with Kylie. It’s very serious. Your life is at stake.”
This would not come as welcome news for Kim Kardashian, who has never shied away from expressing her distaste for pregnancy. In another interview during the earlier stages of her second pregnancy, Kim revealed that she absolutely hated being pregnant.
“For me, pregnancy is the worst experience of my life!” she had written earlier on her website.
Later, she vowed never to become a mother again.
“I’m very content with just having two [children]. I just don’t think pregnancy and me really agree with each other. It’s awful.”
And if that was not enough, according to Wonderwall, Kim Kardashian has now revealed that she is getting increasingly worried about the safety of the child that is inside her.
“This pregnancy, I’m definitely scared for my delivery, but trying my best to be hopeful and not stress out too much!” she wrote on her website before explaining where her pregnancy complications were actually coming from.
“We induced my labor and I had North soon after. Right after delivery, the placenta usually then comes out. Mine did not. My placenta stayed attached inside my uterus, which is a condition called placenta accreta. This is a high-risk condition that happens when the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall,” she explained.
Yesterday, Kim Kardashian uploaded a photo of her tummy on Instagram, revealing she was struggling with both sinus issues and flu simultaneously. That has led to a lot of Kim’s fans speculating about the well-being of her child.
By all accounts, Kim is herself really worried, and perhaps Kanye West is too.
While some people would see that as Kim Kardashian being overly dramatic about the whole pregnancy issue (considering some other celebrities often go out of their way to become pregnant), we have to give Kim’s her own. After all, it is Kim and Kanye’s child, and it is only natural for the parents to be nervous as the delivery date approaches.
Kim Kardashian is set to deliver her second child on Christmas day.
