‘The Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ Welcomes New Cast Member Siggy Flicker [Report]
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 7 will reportedly include a new cast member, Siggy Flicker. On November 13, Radar Online reported news of the new housewife, claiming the relationship expert and matchmaker, who has been spotted with Jacqueline Laurita in recent months, had been offered a deal with Bravo to appear on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives Of New Jersey.

“[Real Housewives of New Jersey] producers are definitely going to want Siggy to use her professional experience to help the ladies with their relationships,” a source told Radar Online. And The Real Housewives Of New Jersey won’t be her first time on reality television. As the source revealed, Flicker starred on Vh1’s Why Am I Still Single?! in 2011.
“Bravo producers wanted someone pretty and successful to add to the mix and Siggy seems like a perfect fit,” Radar Online‘s source explained of the season 7 cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. “With Teresa getting out of jail and still fighting with Melissa, Siggy’s advice might be sought by the two ladies. Or maybe she’ll just add some drama of her own to the mix!”

According to Flicker’s official website, she is the author of Write Your Own Fairytale, hails from New Jersey, and is the mother of two children, a daughter and a son, as well as the stepmother to two additional children.
Prior to her current husband, Michael Campanella, the father of her two stepchildren, Flicker was married to Mark Flicker, but despite the dreaded reality television curse, the former couple’s divorce was highly civil, with “no lawyers, no bitter arguments and no traumatized children,” according to her website.
During an interview with the Village Voice, the rumored new Real Housewives of New Jersey addition gushed over her husband Campanella, claiming, “I ended up falling in love with a bald car salesman, but I’ve never been so rich before — where it counts. You can fake many things in life, but true chemistry, you can’t fake.”
This isn’t the first time fans are hearing Flicker’s name tied to the cast of The RealHousewives of New Jersey. In late September, E! News claimed Flicker had met with producers to discuss a possible future role on the reality series.
Since March, Bravo has reportedly been considering a major change in the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. At that time, there were a number of names connected with the series, one of which was Melissa Gorga’s close friend, Traci Lynn Johnson, the wife of former NFL star Tiki Barber. However, Johnson reportedly chose not to be featured on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which left an empty space for Flicker.
Below is what a source told E! News in March of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7:
“Their goal is to include more well-known names and make New Jersey look more glamorous, like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Potential new cast members are being told the show will take an entirely different direction. The focus isn’t going to be on Teresa and her family’s legal troubles. It’s time for a fresh start. More fun and more glam.”
While Bravo has yet to confirm the renewal of The Real Housewives of New Jersey for a seventh season, creator Andy Cohen has spoken often of the series, which is expected to return to Bravo sometime next year.
