Kim Richards ‘Doing Really Well’ And They’re ‘Happy,’ Says Sis Kyle Richards

According to Kyle Richards, things are well with her sister Kim Richards. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, posted on Thursday, Kyle said that Kim is taking care of herself. Kyle added that Kim’s in “a good place” and that they’re “happy.”

“My sister’s doing really well. She’s doing very well. She needed this time to take of herself, and that’s what she’s done. She’s in a good place, so we’re happy.”

Kyle made her comments about Kim while showing Entertainment Tonight around her home, which has just undergone a major renovation costing $1.5 million. Peppered around the home are framed photos of Kyle and Kim.

Viewers will once again see Kyle as a starring housewife on the sixth season the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which premieres on Tuesday, December 1. Joining Kyle in the starring lineup are returning cast members Lisa Vanderpump, Yolanda Foster, Lisa Rinna, and Eileen Davidson, along with newcomers Erika Jayne and Kathryn Edwards. While Kim isn’t a starring housewife, viewers will still see her make some appearances.

The official preview for the upcoming season shows that viewers will see Kim confront Lisa R. about their past drama. “You really pointed some nasty fingers at me,” Kim tells Lisa. “You gotta own your own stuff,” Lisa replies. On season 5, Lisa shared a car with Kim on their way to Eileen’s poker party. After Kim exhibited some strange behavior during the car ride and the party, Lisa questioned why everyone is so afraid to question Kim’s sobriety.

Later, in Amsterdam, things came to a head between the two women during a dinner in a fancy restaurant. After Kim, upset over Lisa questioning her sobriety, implied that Lisa’s husband, actor Harry Hamlin, did something wrong, Lisa threw a wine glass down at the table and lunged towards Kim. Kyle was so freaked out that she ran off from the table.

The preview shows another scene in which Kyle tells Adrienne Maloof, who starred on the show from seasons 1 through 3 and then appeared as a guest on season 5, about how hard her relationship with Kim has been. In another scene, Lisa Vanderpump talks about Kim’s arrest.

The preview for season 6 also shows Kyle Richards telling someone on the phone that she was told that it’s better if she not attend the wedding. Was Kyle talking about what happened with the wedding of her niece, Kim Richards’ oldest daughter Brooke Brinson? During the season 5 reunion show, Kyle and Kim lashed out and hurled accusations against one another. Kyle accused Kim of not wanting her to be at Brooke’s wedding. Kyle broke down as she screamed that she loves Kim’s children as if they’re her own.

In April, days after the reunion show finale aired, Kim was arrested in April at the Beverly Hills hotel for public intoxication. Days later, she did an interview with Dr. Phil in which she admitted that she had slip ups with her sobriety and lied to the other housewives about her sobriety. She then entered rehab.

In May, Kim left rehab to attend the Brooke’s wedding in Cabo. While there was a lot of speculation over Kyle’s attendance, she did end up going.

Or perhaps the wedding convo in the preview was about the wedding of Kim and Kyle’s niece Nicky Hilton, their elder sister Kathy Hilton’s second daughter. In July, Kyle attended Nicky’s wedding in London. Kim did not attend due to her rehab stay. In August, Kim was arrested again, this time for shoplifting at Target.

While it remains to be seen whether viewers will see Kim Richards and Kyle Richards have a heart-to-heart talk and reconciliation on season 6 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it is very likely that they’ll see Kim in a scene with Brandi Glanville and Yolanda Foster. Like Kim, Brandi will also be making a few appearances on the upcoming season. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kim, Brandi, and Yolanda were spotted filming a picnic in the park last week.
