Did Kendall Jenner Ban Her Siblings From Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show?
Tuesday was a huge day for Kendall Jenner. Social media’s new “It” girl and popular runway model was walking for the very first time at the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. But it looks like all of Kendall’s sisters skipped out on her big day.
According to the Daily Mail, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian were spotted visiting Lamar Odom at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills, who is currently recovering from an alleged drug overdose. Their sighting happened on the same day that their younger sister Kendall Jenner was preparing to hit the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York City.
Kim, 35, and Kourtney, 36, are currently filming the new season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. They were seen entering the Los Angeles hospital with a film crew on hand, according to the Daily Mail report. Meanwhile, another report via the Hollywood Life claimed that Khloe Kardashian wasn’t too far behind her famous sisters.
The report also claims that Kendall doesn’t want her famous family attending her big night. In fact, she forbid all of her famous siblings from attending the annual lingerie show!
While preparing backstage for the event, Jenner, 20, revealed to the NY Daily News’ Confident@l, “I told them all to stay away.”
The reason? The reality star explained to Extra TV that Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian have too much on their plates at this moment. Kendall added that only Kris Jenner, 60, and Caitlyn Jenner, 65, would attend the event to show their support for their burgeoning fashion model.
“It was too much pressure and I was like, ‘Mom and Dad are good enough.’ I just need the pressure off. There’s enough pressure as it is.”
Kendall Jenner was spotted backstage wearing a pink and white striped silk robe designed by Victoria’s Secret PINK. She had her hair in rollers and her makeup all done. The older Jenner sister showed off her bright pink bra and her long and lean legs. She looked at her phone as one of the makeup artists applied concealer to her under eyes. Jenner then shared a photo of herself with her BFF Gigi Hadid.
The photo, shared on the Victoria’s Secret PINK Instagram page, included the caption, “First time in the #VSFashionShow for this #besties.”
Kendall’s mom even shared a photo of the two besties getting ready backstage. She captioned the adorable photo, “These two backstage getting ready for the #VictoriaSecret show tonight!!!!!! So excited @kendalljenner @gigihadid!!!! #dreamscometrue #friends #memories #dreambigworkhard”
While the Daily Mail report claimed that Kendall Jenner looked cool and calm backstage, she has been feeling butterflies. She admitted to E! News that she’s been feeling “really nervous” about her big Victoria’s Secret debut. The famous Jenner teen admitted to the entertainment news site that she’s more worried about slipping up on stage more than walking around in sexy lingerie.
“It’s kind of strange to say it, but I’m more nervous about tripping or slipping than I am to be wearing lingerie, but it’ll be all good. It’ll be all good.”
Although online rumors swirled that Kendall ended up tripping on the runway, she still strutted her stuff like a professional in a baby blue embellished bra with an embellished sheer blouse and matching panties. Kendall also wore a colorful ensemble, which included another corset and matching panties with an attached skirt.

In fact, Kendall was feeling so nervous, that she told E! News that she was nearly “peeing herself.” She didn’t skip meals or go on an extreme diet for her big day. In fact, Kendall had a large meal on the eve of the taping. “I had a chicken and sweet potato and egg whites and avocado,” she admitted to the New York Daily News.
Kendall Jenner joins a long list of veteran VS models on Tuesday’s show. It will also include longtime Victoria’s Secret Angels Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs on December 8 on CBS at 10 p.m.
