Jessa Duggar Baby Name: What Name Did Jessa And Ben Pick For Baby Seewald? Here’s Where To Find Out
Jessa Duggar has not yet revealed the name of her new baby boy, but fans of the 19 Kids and Counting family will have just one place to look when they want to find out.
Jessa (now Seewald) and her husband Ben welcomed their first child into the world on Thursday, a baby boy who weighed in 9 lbs. 11 oz. and was 21 and a half inches long. While Jessa and Ben shared pictures of Baby Seewald with People magazine (and will soon be adding more to their personal website, theseewaldfamily.com), they have not yet revealed the baby’s name.
This has led to a lot of anticipation among fans, who have taken to Google in the hopes of finding out some clues.
While Jessa Duggar hasn’t given any indications of her baby’s name, she did seem to have a premonition about the baby’s size, posting just a few days ago on Instagram that she was predicting a big boy — and she was right.

So how will Jessa Duggar reveal her baby’s name? When the new mom is ready, the name will be posted on People‘s site, as Jessa and Ben have an arrangement to share the information exclusively with the celebrity news outlet.
It was back in April that Jessa and Ben shared the news of their pregnancy exclusively with People magazine.
Jessa said at the time, “I think having this first year together to share our lives, just the two of us, has been special,” and added that the two were “definitely excited to be parents.”

If Jessa Duggar is anything like her big sister, fans won’t have too long to wait before finding out Baby Seewald’s name. Jill and her husband Derick welcomed their first child earlier this year, and within the day had announced that his name is Israel David.
Like Jessa, Jill Dillard had an exclusive arrangement with People and also shared the first baby photo with the celebrity news outlet.
Jill and Jessa shared another quality moment — having to wait a while for their babies to come. Both Jill and Jessa went long beyond their initial due dates, something Jill said she was expecting. In an interview with People in the weeks before Israel was born, Jill said she was “planning on the baby coming late, no big deal — if you have it in your head that way, you won’t get discouraged.”
“When everyone else is asking you, ‘When are you going to have that baby?’ The baby will come when the baby comes,” she said.
Jill ended up going about two weeks past her due date, but said she didn’t allow herself to get down about it.
“I have told myself, ‘First-time moms often go a week and a half over, so didn’t get discouraged,'” she said.
While fans wait to see what Jessa Duggar named her baby, the speculation has already started. Many have made guesses, and Jessa herself even encouraged it. On her personal website she included a poll where fans could guess the gender, whether it was one baby or twins, and exactly what the name might be.
At the time, Jessa noted that she and Ben didn’t have a name in mind, so if they have picked one then it’s something they’ve come to in the last six weeks or so.
“We haven’t told whether our baby is a boy or a girl, but we are in the middle of choosing a baby name,” Jessa says in a YouTube video announcing the poll. “Put in your top pick for a boy name and a girl name, and who knows. We may choose yours.”
