Texas Mom Accused Of Forcing Son To Eat Rat Poison
A Texas mom is in jail after she allegedly committed an unthinkable crime. The Dreamin’ Demon reports that 31-year-old Paw Eh allegedly forced her son to eat a spoonful of rat poison while going through an apparent emotional and mental episode. That’s not all that happened during this horrifying incident, which is why the woman may permanently lose custody of her children — which is the least of her worries, with the charges she faces.
The incident reportedly took place on Saturday, and involved all three of the woman’s children — her sons, age 4 and 7, and her 12-year-old daughter. In fact, had it not been for the two elder children, this story would have a far more tragic ending. Authorities in Dallas allege that the Texas mom tried to kill her children, beginning with her 4-year-old son, whom she forced to eat rat poison from a spoon. At first she allegedly tried to coax him into eating the poison voluntarily, but he refused by keeping his mouth shut, undoubtedly realizing that his mother was trying to cause him harm. When he kept his mouth closed, Paw Eh reportedly slapped him in the face, forcing him to open his mouth and ingest the toxic substance.
She then turned to her 12-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son, and attempted to force them into eating the poison. However, both of the children fled from the apartment, to a nearby apartment where other family members of theirs resided. It was from there that 911 was called on the allegedly deranged woman.
CBS News reports that the 4-year-old child who ingested the rat poison was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was listed as being in critical condition. His condition has since stabilized, and he is currently recovering from the near-fatal dose of rat poisoning that his mother allegedly forced him to eat. That’s a fortunate turn of events for the lad, who will still likely remember what his mother is accused of doing to him for many years to come — as will his older siblings.
Paw Eh has been charged with attempted murder stemming from Saturday’s incident. It’s currently unknown at this time if she will be facing any other charges associated with allegedly trying to kill all three of her children. However, it is known that she is currently being held in jail on bond in the amount of $500k. Meanwhile, neighbors in her apartment complex have expressed concern that the woman may be suffering from mental problems, due to claims that she had complained about not being able to sleep and that she may have wanted to commit suicide.
This isn’t the first time a Texas mom has made headlines for wanting to kill her children. One of the most famous cases involves Andrea Yates, who drowned all five of her children while under the effects of extreme mental illness. Yates made national headlines when she avoided the death penalty for her actions, and was instead committed to a high security mental hospital. In 2012, it was reported that the convicted child killer could be granted weekly release from prison in order to attend church. It should be noted that her unhealthy religious belief is what supposedly led to her drowning her children in the first place.
Another Texas mom made famous for murdering her own child is Otty Sanchez. The San Antonio woman shocked the world in 2009 when she not only murdered her 3-week-old son, but she dismembered and ate parts of his body while experiencing a bout of extreme psychosis. In a shocking turn of events, the woman was found not guilty by reason of insanity.
