Lamar Odom Demands Stronger Pain Pills & Summons Drug Dealer As Khloe Kardashian Plans Xmas Trio With James Harden

Khloe Kardashian may be feeling trapped between supporting her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, and holding onto her reportedly still faithful boyfriend, James Harden. After calling off the almost-completed divorce following the news that Lamar had been found unconscious in a brothel and was fighting for his life in a Nevada hospital, Khloe has remained, for the most part, 24/7 by the bedside of Odom. But for Kardashian, the stress of trying to meet both men’s needs as well as her awareness of the drug-addicted past of Lamar is creating increasing stress, according to Radar Online.

When Khloe is away from Odom, he pleads with her to return, revealed sources. Most recently, Kardashian left Lamar to visit James in Houston, said one insider.

“James gives Khloe the space to do what she needs to do. He is comfortable enough with their relationship,” revealed that source.

In addition, Kardashian had been in touch with Harden on a daily basis throughout the stress of staying with an unconscious Odom following a reported drug overdose. At one point considering returning to Lamar, Khloe quickly changed her mind when as Lamar recovered, he allegedly asked his drug dealer to visit him in the hospital.

“It became clear to Khloe very quickly after Lamar woke up, and the days went on, that he wasn’t going to be changing any time soon. Calling his drug dealer to the hospital was the final straw,” added the insider.

Kardashian has sought to help Odom while holding onto Harden, and she thinks she’s found one way by taking Lamar with her to watch James in action on Christmas, reported Hollywood Life.

“Khloe has brought up the idea to watch James play on Christmas and bring Lamar with her if he is healthy enough to travel to Texas,” said an insider. “She wants Lamar to be around the game and have some fun; he needs it.”

However, if she has to choose between James and Odom, what happens?

“But in the chance that [Lamar] is not able to take that much of travel, [Khloe] would love to go to the Los Angeles Lakers game, and then hang out with James during New Year’s Eve after his game that night because he has the following day off,” revealed the source.

Once the reality TV star felt that Odom was no longer in critical condition, she went to watch James battle in a game with the Rockets. As for the cancellation of the divorce?

“I pulled back on the divorce because there is no rush for it,” clarified the co-star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. “For medical decisions and a ton of other things, it’s just smarter that it’s put on hold. But that doesn’t mean I’m back with Lamar. It’s not even in our brains to think about us having a relationship.”

As the Inquisitr reported, the question of whether Odom will go to rehab for drug addiction after he leaves the hospital, enter an outpatient physical therapy program, or choose another alternative has become a battleground for Kardashian and Lamar.

Even though it was a drug overdose that almost killed him, Odom denies that he has a substance abuse problem. Khloe is advocating for rehab because Kardashian feels that her husband is in denial when it comes to insisting he’s not addicted to drugs, said an insider.

Lamar reportedly will leave the hospital in about 10 days. The release from the hospital will be followed by outpatient visits for physical rehabilitation or by stay in a facility for rehab. However, while either of those options will help Odom physically, Kardashian is concerned that neither will address his drug abuse, and that’s reportedly why she pulled the plug on their marriage the first time.

And James may become even more appealing than Lamar because of the way that Odom is showing that he has not yet recovered from his addiction to drugs, reported Life & Style.

In particular, Lamar is seeking stronger pain medication that includes Oxycontin, revealed a source.

“Lamar was moved out of ICU earlier this week because of the progress that has been made,” shared an insider. “He is no longer on dialysis. But there are concerns because Lamar has been asking for copious amounts of pain medication, including Oxycontin.”

For his physicians, the awareness that Lamar is in pain must be weighed with the knowledge that Lamar has a drug addiction past, added the insider.

“It’s a dilemma for the doctors because the pain has to be treated… with Lamar’s history of substance abuse, they are trying to give him other pain medications that aren’t as powerful. However, Lamar complains that it’s not strong enough.”

Khloe is increasingly distraught at the drug-seeking behavior exhibited by Lamar. Although the reality TV star continues to stay in touch with his doctors, she is concerned about what the demands for stronger pain pills, coupled with the rumors that Lamar asked his drug dealer to come to his bedside, could mean for his future.
