Harry Styles And Louis Tomlinson Feuding? Rumors Suggest One Direction Members Had A ‘Falling Out’

Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson’s close friendship may have sparked romance rumors earlier this year, but according to new rumors surrounding the One Direction members, Harry and Louis are reportedly not even speaking to one another after a massive “falling out” within the group.

One Direction is currently gearing up for the release of their fifth studio album, Made in the A.M., but it seems as though tensions are running high within the group as a reported source close to One Direction reveals that Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are no longer friends.

A source close to Louis and Harry reveals to The Sun that One Direction is currently in the midst of a “massive divide” after losing former fifth member Zayn Malik earlier this year, further causing tension between remaining members Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne.

Harry and Louis’ source alleges that the duo had an abrupt “falling out” in 2012, but no one is sure why Styles and Tomlinson ended up on bad terms.

The source is quoted as saying that “everyone involved in the band” is aware of Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson’s “animosity,” explaining that the Harry and Louis’ ongoing feud has even led to the group traveling separately and spending individual time in the recording studio.

“That’s quite an extraordinary situation, but their team knew the less time Harry and Louis had to spend together, the better chances 1D would stay together.”

One Direction’s insider further claims that Tomlinson has been fighting with One Direction’s management team and record company, with a source at Sony alleging that Louis refused to perform at the Brit Awards so that One Direction could receive more time off.

The report also alleges that Harry Styles chooses to “distance himself” from Louis Tomlinson and his fellow One Direction bandmates when the group does get a break from their busy schedules, noting that Harry prefers to spend time with his other “celeb friends” instead of hanging with Louis and his other bandmates.

The rumors come on the heels of reports that suggest One Direction’s 2016 hiatus may turn into full-fledged breakup for the group, especially given that Harry and Louis are rumored to be on bad terms and the group is already down one member since losing Zayn Malik in March.

Despite the ongoing rumors of a permanent breakup for One Direction, Niall Horan reassured worried fans on Friday by insisting that he and Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne have no animosity towards one another and are dedicated to remaining a group.

“Don’t believe anything you are reading. We stand strong as a band and we’re brothers, can’t wait for you to hear what we’ve been working on. Thank you for all the continuous love and support.”

Similarly, One Direction’s fandom was quick to point out flaws in the Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson feud rumors by sharing several examples of how friendly Harry and Louis have been to one another onstage over the past few weeks.

In fact, Harry and Louis’ close friendship made headlines for the One Direction members earlier this year after a fan-created rumor surfaced online suggesting that Styles and Tomlinson are in a romantic relationship. One Direction fans even began trending the duo’s couple name, “Larry,” on Twitter to further speculation regarding Harry and Louis’ alleged romance.

Liam Payne spoke out against the “insane” rumors in a controversial interview with Attitude magazine in September, telling the publication that he finds the relationship rumors between Harry and Louis “annoying” and “stupid.”

“It becomes like a conspiracy or like a cult, the people that watch them and think that every move they make is a gesture towards them being together, and I know it’s not true and it makes me mad.”

While Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson have since denied the relationship claims, it looks like the duo are now having to combat rumors of their alleged “falling out.”
