Glenn Is Still Alive? Steven Yeun Spotted Filming ‘The Walking Dead’
Last week on The Walking Dead, fans were shocked when Steven Yeun’s character Glenn Rhee looked like he was eaten by zombies. Nobody wanted Yeun’s character to be gone, and now it appears that Glenn is not really dead. Celeb Dirty Laundry shared that it looks like Glenn is still alive because sources say that Steven Yeun has been spotted still filming the series, and of course that wouldn’t be happening if his character Glenn was dead. He was reportedly seen at the Hilltop colony actually filming a scene for the show as Glenn.
Steven Yeun’s character Glenn is one of the few characters that has been on the show since the very start. Glenn is a fan favorite as well. Yeun was actually seen filming with the character Paul, who has not been introduced on the show yet. This pretty much implies that Glenn will live to see another day.

The Hilltop will soon be discovered by Rick and his company, thanks to Paul. This is if The Walking Dead follows the same story line that the comic books did, which they have stayed pretty close to so far. If Glenn was dead, Steven Yeun would not have been spotted with Paul at Hilltop colony.
One theory is that Steven Yeun could be simply there filming flashbacks. If he was doing that, then Yeun would not have been spotted with Paul and at Hilltop. This one would be pretty hard for them to explain. The show should have done a better job of hiding their filming from watchful eyes of fans that do not want Glenn to be gone.
IB Times did share one thing that has fans confused a bit about the fate of Glenn. Steven Yeun has cut his hair since wrapping up this part of the show according to Michael Traynor, who played Nicholas. He says that they got haircuts together.
“We did it together. That’s kind of how we celebrated the day. We went to the barber shop. We got a little trim. It was good.”
If this is the case, then Steven Yeun’s character Glenn Rhee could be coming back without his long signature locks that haven’t been cut. The thing is, Traynor might just be doing a great job of tricking the fans into thinking that Glenn didn’t survive just like his character.

Executive producer David Alpert was asked about Glenn Rhee’s death on the show and actually won’t confirm or deny if he survived, but says that the Glenn everyone knew is gone.
“He has forgiven and embraced and given Nicholas every opportunity in the show to do the right thing, and almost at every point along the way, has paid the price for it. I feel like, regardless of what happened to Glenn, he paid a tremendous price for having been human to Nicholas, and that, to me, from an emotional point of view — whether or not Glenn is alive or dead or something else — the Glenn that we knew, the one that believed in the better side of humanity, I think is dead.”
So, will viewers find out on Sunday, November 1, that Glenn Rhee is still alive? It doesn’t look like it will happen that soon. The Walking Dead episode on Sunday doesn’t sound like it will have Steven Yeun in it at all and will instead focus on Morgan and his backstory. Don’t miss the new episodes on Sunday nights to see if Glenn survived or if Steven Yeun is filming for some other crazy reason. Fans are probably going to have to wait a few more weeks to see Glenn’s fate. Sound off in the comments below on if you think Glenn Rhee is alive or dead.
