Serena Williams Dating Alexis Ohanian, Co-Founder Of Reddit — What Happened To Drake?

Serena Williams is reportedly dating Alexis Ohanian, the millionaire co-founder of Reddit, despite the fact that rumors (as recently as yesterday, in fact) had detailed that the tennis ace might be pregnant with Drake’s baby.

Us Weekly were the first to romantically link Williams and Ohanian, with a source for the publication insisting that the pair had met at a luncheon, where they instantly hit it off.

The source explained, “They met a lunch. It’s new.” Another source for Us Weekly then added further information regarding Ohanian and Williams’ potential courtship, downplaying it a tad by referring it to it simply as a “flirty friendship.”

However, clearly the pair are growing increasingly close after originally meeting and bonding at their lunch, because it’s also been alleged that Serena Williams brought 32-year-old Alexis Ohanian to one of her training sessions at the Los Angeles School Of Gymnastics on Saturday, October 24.

Speaking of their interactions at the gym, an eyewitness and onlooker explained, “He called her babe and they held hands.” In fact, because of the amount of time they’ve been spending together, Ohanian has even actually been getting into tennis. The source added, “He said he’d never been into tennis until they started dating!”

These rumors regarding Ohanian and Williams dating are rather surprising, considering the amount of speculation that had been previously linking Serena with the rapper and singer Drake over the last few months.

Drake and Serena Williams, who had originally been linked with each other back in 2011, allegedly rekindled their relationship back in August. These rumors started after the pair were spotted at a Cincinnati restaurant together, and only increased after Drake was constantly spotted court-side during Serena Williams’ run to the US Open semi-final in September.

Serena Williams was on course to become the first woman to win the Grand Slam if she’d been victorious at Flushing Meadows, having claimed the Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon crowns earlier that year. However, Serena ultimately lost to 32-year-old Italian Robert Vinci in the semi-final, which was one of the biggest shocks in sporting history.

Once again, Drake was in the crowd when Serena Williams lost in the hugely surprising manner. This immediately led fans to insist that Serena Williams’ defeat was the result of the alleged Drake curse.

Since then, though, the rumors surrounding Serena Williams and Drake dating have emphatically cooled. There was speculation from Media Take Out yesterday that Serena Williams was actually pregnant with Drake’s baby. However, as the Inquisitr reported, various other news sites were quick to insist that the rumor website had emphatically made up the story.

Meanwhile, confirmation that Drake and Serena Williams almost certainly aren’t together anymore emerged after Drake was spotted wining and dating with another woman.

Earlier this month, the Inquisitr reported that Drake was photographed heading into a rather trendy and impressive Hollywood club alongside a woman, who was deemed as a “Serena Williams lookalike.” The unknown woman was also being protected by one of Drake’s bodyguards as she entered the club, too.

Before Serena William reconciled with Drake, it was previously suggested, via Fox News, that the tennis player, who has won 36 major titles during her career, was in a relationship with her coach, Patrick Mouratoglou.

Alexis Ohanian created Reddit alongside co-founder Steve Huffman shortly after he graduated from the University of Virginia in 2005, where he studied and gathered degrees in commerce and history. Ohanian ultimately left Reddit in 2009, and since then, he has launched numerous other ventures, including travel website Hipmunk and Das Kapital Capital.
