‘Momager’ Kris Jenner Circling Lamar Odom: Basketball Star Can’t Speak, But Jenner Already Trying To Make Money From Tragedy

Famous “momager” Kris Jenner, the mother to all things Kardashian, is often ridiculed for seeing dollar signs instead of family members, but her newest plans may just take the cake.

As son-in-law and basketball star Lamar Odom struggles his way back to health, and before the man has even regained back the capacity to speak, insiders report that Kris Jenner is already circling the basketball star like a vulture, trying her hardest to get Odom back in front of the camera.

According to Radar Online, one insider said bluntly, “All of a sudden, Lamar’s become useful to her again.”

Of course, one place Jenner would really like to feature Lamar is in her family’s mega-hit reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. According to Radar’s source, both Odom’s medical crisis — the result of a drug overdose that happened in an infamous Nevada brothel — as well as his subsequent recovery and battle to health will all be featured on the show.

“Anyone saying they’ve not been filming throughout this doesn’t know what they are talking about,” the source said.

But Kris Jenner doesn’t just see dollar signs and increased ratings for her own show, the source claims. In addition, Jenner is even attempting to negotiate the deal for his first interview after the terrifying ordeal happened. While some may see Odom’s overdose as a tragedy, Kris Jenner sees it as an opportunity.

“Kris is licking her lips at all the money she’ll make on the back of Lamar’s OD. She puts on a good show of maternal concern, but there’s always an agenda with Kris and Lamar’s troubles are no exception.”

Ouch.

But if the source is correct, the idea that Kardashian mom Kris Jenner sees opportunity rather than tragedy in the near-death of Lamar Odom may be her most vulture-like move yet.

Earlier reports show that Kris Jenner was furious with the idea of Khloe and Lamar’s reconciliation. In fact, one source claimed that Kris was informed of Khloe’s decision the night before the news was made public that her lawyer would be asking that the divorce petition between Khloe and Lamar be dropped.

“Kris was absolutely totally stunned and is very disappointed Khloe made the decision,” the source said.

In fact, the reason why Kris was upset over the decision is the exact incident that she now poises to make serious bank from — Odom’s overdose in the brothel.

“As long as Khloe and Lamar are together, the brothel overdose is an embarrassment to the family.”

But now it seems as though Kris Jenner might be able to withstand the humiliation as long as it fattens her bank account. Kardashian embarrassment is always good for the pocketbook of Kris Jenner!

In addition to the supposed humiliation, the source said the idea that Lamar’s overdose would somehow magically cure the couple’s ongoing problems is unrealistic.

“Nothing has changed with Lamar. Khloe’s trust issues just won’t disappear because of the overdose,” the source said, calling Khloe’s decision “shocking.”

However, it sounds like Kris Jenner doesn’t have too much to worry about — Khloe herself says that she and Lamar are not back together. As reported by the Inquisitr, Khloe Kardashian told People Magazine that “her reasons for calling off her divorce to Lamar Odom have nothing to do with their personal or romantic relationship, but mostly about what is best for them at this moment in order to benefit Lamar as he continues to receive medical treatment and [recover] from his overdose.”

Whether a romantic reconciliation is in the works for Khloe and Lamar or not, Lamar is, apparently, not the only one to benefit from this decision. Kris Jenner — and her ever-growing bank account, fattened off her family — are almost surely going to benefit, as well.
