Serena Williams Pregnant With Drake’s Baby? Conflicting Reports Question If The Tennis Player Is Expecting
Could it be true that Serena Williams is pregnant with Drake’s baby? It all depends on which media outlet you believe.
If you believe Media Take Out, then the answer is yes, Williams is absolutely pregnant. The rumor website insists emphatically that Serena is going to be a mother. The website cites a “snitch close to Serena” and a photo of Serena, which the website claims shows a baby bump.
“Serena Williams is going to be a mom and Drake is going to be a father. This is not rumor y’all… it’s fact. MediaTakeOut.come spoke with a snitch close to Serena who told us that Serena was actually pregnant during the US Open. The child, we’re told, is Drake’s… but the couple is not together.”
Media Take Out is just about the only gossip site that believes the Serena Williams pregnancy report to be true. In fact, Gossip Cop slammed the report from Media Take Out, saying that perhaps MTO needs a better source.
“MediaFakeOut might want to work on finding better ‘snitches,’ because Williams is absolutely NOT pregnant with Drake’s baby. In fact, she’s not expecting anyone’s baby, period. Gossip Cop is exclusively told by Williams’ rep that the webloid’s “fact” is actually just a false ‘rumor.'”
Gossip Cop goes on to report that MTO has falsely reported many other celebrities to be pregnant in the past, including Rihanna, Gabrielle Union, Karrueche Tran, and Khloe Kardashian.
Hollywood Life also is reporting the Serena Williams-Drake-pregnancy rumor to be false, writing that Serena Williams wouldn’t even consider having a child out of wedlock.
“[Serena’s] definitely not [pregnant]. She took a break from tennis because she needed to unwind and be stress free for a few months. She is not ready to have a child with anyone, especially with it being out of wedlock. She is not having Drake’s child.”
Reports circulated that Drake and Serena Williams were dating back in August after the tennis player and the rapper were seen dining together in a Cincinnati restaurant. At the time, Serena was playing in the Western & Southern Open, according to People, and Drake happened to be in town to support his friend. According to Drake and Serena’s reps, the pair have never dated.

In September, Drake was seen cheering for Serena at the U.S. Open, where she eventually lost in a shocking upset to unranked 32-year-old Robert Vinci. The pair were linked closely enough at the time for fans to blame the surprising loss on Drake and the alleged Drake curse.
Whether or not Serena Williams is pregnant with Drake’s baby seems to be up in the air, but reports indicate that all sources can agree on one thing: Serena and Drake are not actually dating.
According to Page Six, the 33-year-old athlete and 28-year-old entertainer dated for a spell in 2011, but they haven’t been serious since then. A source told Page Six that Serena and Drake “have been off and on for a while, they like each other but it is not anything serious. They are both too busy.”

The media outlet also noted that Serena has been romantically linked to her coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, though the two are no longer dating, either.
In August — before the U.S. Open — a source also told Page Six that the two were just friends.
“Serena briefly dated Drake around 2011 and even though it didn’t end that well, they have remained friends since. He has been at her side at a lot of tournaments recently, including Wimbledon in July, where he sat in her box next to her sister Venus. Serena is single at the moment and is focused on winning the US Open, and making history.”
After her split from Drake in 2011, Serena called the relationship a “heartbreak.”
