‘The Walking Dead’: When Will We Find Out Glenn’s Fate? [Major Spoilers]
The Walking Dead spoilers are running wild after Sunday’s episode and the shocking possible death that occurred. [Warning: Spoilers included!] As fans shocking watched as beloved character Glenn Rhee was seemingly ripped apart by a huge heard of walkers during the all new episode, the intense moment left viewers with possibly the biggest cliffhanger in the show’s history.
According to Wet Paint, Walking Dead fans who are eagerly and impatiently waiting for answers to whether Glenn is alive or dead will have to wait for awhile longer. The next episode will not give us any answers or closure about Glenn’s fate. In fact, we will have to suffer for three long weeks before we know what has become of our beloved Glenn. The report suggests that no answers or clues will be given until Episode 7 airs. That is just one episode before the mid-season finale, which is rumored to be another huge episode.
The report reveals that Glenn’s fate will be revealed in the November 22 episode, but reliable sources are claiming that Glenn is actually still alive and that actor Steven Yeun has been seen on set multiple times since the episode where he allegedly dies. Fans have even speculated that since Nicholas’ dead body fell on top of Glenn’s that the walkers were actually tearing Nick apart, and that Glenn can hopefully roll under the dumpster and take refuge.
Another fan theory is that Enid, who some fans believe has connections to the wolves, and may have actually let them in to Alexandria, could be the one to save Glenn. Enid actually left Alexandria around the time period that Glenn and Nicholas were being attacked, and she could happen to stumble upon Glenn during his sticky situation.
While fans are waiting to find out Glenn’s fate they’ll get some great episodes. The next show will be extended to 90 minutes and will feature flashbacks of another fan favorite character, Morgan Jones. Morgan, who has has only been in a handful of episodes, has been beloved by fans since the pilot. However, for much of the series, he was not on the show. Perhaps we as fans will finally get to see what Morgan was up to after Rick left him in the pilot episode and more details about him losing his young son, Dwayne.
No matter what happens in the episodes before we see Glenn again, The Walking Dead showrunner Scott Gimple promises fans that we will see the character again in some form, but didn’t give any clues as to what that form may be. Gimple released a statement that was read by Chris Hardwicke on Sunday’s Talking Dead saying,
“Dear fans of The Walking Dead, this is a hard story to tell and when we were planning to tell we knew our friends at the Talking Dead would be talking to you about it and knowing you’d all be talking, and feeling and commiserating, I knew we should say something about it lest our silence say something we didn’t mean to say or not say. So I’ll say this: In some way, we will see Glenn, some version of Glenn or parts of Glenn again, either in flashback or in the current story to help complete the story.”
As Walking Dead fans we can only tune in every Sunday at 9 p.m. and be taken along for the ride to find out what will happen with our favorite characters as many of their lives are in jeopardy and hang in the balance each and every week.
