Khloe Kardashian And Lamar Odom Reconciliation — 7 Times We Knew She Couldn’t Quit Him

In light of everything that has happened to Lamar Odom in the past few months, Khloe Kardashian is now determined to stay by his side. In fact, according to TMZ, Kardashian has agreed to nullify her divorce with the former NBA star and has agreed to support him throughout his recovery. With that in mind, here is a review of the good and bad times the two have shared with each other and how they have managed to come back together again.

According to CNN, Kardashian and Odom met back in 2009 while she was filming for the hit reality series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Things moved very fast for the couple, who became engaged after only a month of dating and married days after their engagement.

In speaking about her sister’s romance with Odom, Kim Kardashian stated that they were truly in love. “They’re very, very happy,” she stated. “They’ve been together a few weeks and are literally inseparable. Khloe thinks he’s amazing and makes her laugh and smile constantly.”

Following their marriage, Odom enjoyed a few years of success as a basketball star while the Kardashian family readily took him in as one of their own. In fact, Odom managed to win multiple championships with the Los Angeles Lakers. During this time of success, the Kardashians were often seen enjoying his games and everything between Kardashian and Odom seemed to be perfect.

Things were so perfect that the two even started their own reality show. However, their ideal marriage was headed for some rough times after Odom faced charges stemming from a DUI arrest. Following his short stay in rehab to combat his troubles with addiction, things started to quickly unravel for the couple.

Around a month after his arrest and stint in rehab, Kardashian decided a divorce was in order. While she filed her divorce papers, Odom was not ready to accept a break up with his wife. According to Wet Paint, the former NBA star stated that his love for Kardashian would not be taken away even if she wanted a divorce.

“I love my wife. She’ll always be my wife, no matter what … Even if we were divorced, she would always be my wife,” Odom stated.

Meanwhile, although Kardashian briefly moved on with her life and started to date French Montana, she never really let go of her feelings for Odom. In an episode of her family’s hit reality show, the question of her loyalty to Odom was brought up by her sister, who didn’t think she should be spending time making sure Odom was all right.

“Lamar and I loved each other deeply, and I don’t believe in just acting like that relationship never existed,” she stated during the episode. “Things happened, but that doesn’t just stop me from caring about him or loving him.”

At the same time, Odom was left reeling after the death of one of his closest friends, Jamie Sangouthai. During this crisis in his life, the two started to get close again, with Kardashian admitting that she still thinks about him “every day.”

“Lamar is genuinely one of the best people I’ve ever met, and everyone says that when they meet him,” she explained. “I think Lamar’s going to always be that person (for me), but that’s what made it so special.”

Clearly, despite all the troubles, the connection between Odom and Kardashian is one that has helped bring the two back together. In fact, shortly after Odom’s latest brush with death, the two signed an agreement to the judge that voided their divorce and dismissed the case.
