James Harden: Where Does He Stand Now That Khloe Kardashian And Lamar Odom Have Called Off Their Divorce?

James Harden’s relationship with Khloe Kardashian has come to an end. On October 21, TMZ announced news that Kardashian and her husband, Lamar Odom, have called off their divorce. On Wednesday morning, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star’s attorney, Laura Wasser, appeared in front of a judge to request he or she withdraw their petition for divorce. In turn, the divorce is now “dead,” which makes James Harden a single man.

News of Kardashian and Odom staying married comes just one day after a report revealed that James Harden was willing to wait for the reality star as she continued to see Odom through his ongoing treatment.

On October 20, a source revealed the following to Hollywood Life.

“There’s no hard feelings. [James Harden] gets it – Khloe needs to be by Lamar’s side as he fights to make a full recovery. That’s very noble of her and [James Harden] truly believes Khloe’s making the right decision. It’s all good. He’s not slamming the door on the relationship.”

At the time, it was believed that James Harden and Kardashian were still dating, but after TMZ‘s report hit the web just hours ago, it is clear this couple is no more.

James Harden began dating Kardashian over the summer, and in the months that followed, they appeared to be extremely happy. Just two months ago, Kardashian went all out for James Harden’s birthday celebration, treating him to a wild bash on a yacht off the coast of Los Angeles, which featured a fireworks display at midnight. According to an E! News report at the time, many of Kardashian’s family members, including Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Kanye West, and Kris Jenner were in attendance during James Harden’s birthday party.

Also in the Hollywood Life report, a source claimed there could be hope for a future reconciliation between Kardashian and James Harden.

“Who knows, maybe they’ll pick up the pieces when Lamar’s better. Maybe not. But just like Khloe, [James Harden] has a lot on his plate too. His main focus since the preseason began is to win this season’s NBA championship! He’s in the zone right now and the fewer distractions he has in life at this point, the better.”

Amid her relationship with James Harden, Kardashian’s then-estranged husband, Odom, was found unconscious at a brothel in Pahrump, Nevada, where he had reportedly been partying for days with a number of the facility’s women. As TMZ revealed, Odom was not in good condition when he arrived to the hospital on Tuesday, October 13, and after being intubated and stabilized, paramedics transferred him to a second facility, where he was placed into a medical coma. Luckily, however, after Kardashian arrived late Tuesday night, Odom came out of the coma on Friday, and has been making positive progress ever since.

Now that James Harden and Kardashian have split, the Houston Rockets player will focusing solely on his preseason games with the organization, as well as their upcoming season. Meanwhile, Kardashian remains at her husband’s side, and is expected to stay with him as he heads towards a long road to recovery.

Odom signed the request to have his divorce thrown out from his hospital bed on Tuesday. It was not revealed when or where James Harden’s former girlfriend signed the document, and the pair have yet to speak publicly about their decision to stay married.
