Khloe Kardashian’s Own Show Will Still Premiere Despite Lamar Odom Tragedy
Khloe Kardashian may be camping out in Las Vegas these days to be by Lamar Odom’s side as he fights for his life, but her business deals continue on. It is no secret that Khloe still cares deeply for her ex-husband, and she wants the best for him. The two separated almost two years ago when Lamar started disappearing from their home. Even back then, something was wrong, and Kardashian felt that she couldn’t save him. She moved out and sold their home.
These days, Khloe Kardashian is shocked and saddened by Lamar’s downfall. He was hanging out in a Las Vegas brothel and allegedly overdosed on drugs. No word on whether he was suicidal, but he has lost two close friends over a very short period of time. Plus, Odom is clearly rattled after losing his wife about two years ago. Even though they legally separated, Khloe Kardashian has always been a huge support for Lamar.
According to a new Radar Online report, Khloe Kardashian had been working on her own reality show prior to his overdose. Apparently, another Kardashian TV project will be released in December, even though Lamar is currently struggling in a Las Vegas hospital. Khloe has been filming a talk-show style program called Kocktails with Khloe. Kardashian had already filmed a few episodes of the show prior to the overdose, and production wants to stick with the December premiere date.
“The premiere is still set for December 9 for Khloe’s show,” a network insider has revealed, adding that additional episodes may not be taped, saying, “At the moment, production is on hold as Khloe deals with everything that is going on right now.”

The show is currently eight episodes and will air on the FYI network. It will feature Khloe Kardashian in the kitchen, cooking up a storm while gossiping with celebrity guests. This is Khloe’s first solo show, and it sounds like she truly enjoys working on something that belongs to her. Khloe has often talked about cooking and how much she enjoys hanging out and creating dishes. This was something that was often shown on Khloe & Lamar. “Khloe has been incredibly passionate about this show and extremely hands-on,” the insider has revealed, adding, “No one will move on anything without her complete involvement. Everyone just feels so bad that she has to go through this right now when she has been such a great star on this new show.”
But it sounds like Khloe isn’t thinking about cooking these days. She is still waiting in Las Vegas by Lamar’s side. The rest of the Kardashian family has left her behind. He was found on Tuesday and reports are mixed. While some claim that Lamar is brain-dead, others say that he squeezed Kim Kardashian’s hand yesterday and is showing signs of improvement. Clearly, Khloe is concerned for Lamar, and she is staying by his side.

The brothel owner, Dennis Hof, hasn’t really shown his respect for this case. He denied that there were any drugs on the scene when Lamar was found, and he claims that the Kardashian family has acted out. He released a statement to the press, slamming the family for their behavior after Odom was rushed to the hospital. Khloe Kardashian decided to fight back and released a statement to US Weekly.
“We reached out to Dennis,” the statement read, adding, “Politely asking him to respect Lamar’s (and Khloe’s) privacy during this difficult time, and refrain from talking to the press. This is a very painful situation, as I know you are aware, and the idea that anyone would use it to seek publicity is really sad.”
