‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Corey Simms Quits Twitter After ‘Unseen Moments’ Episode: Done With MTV For Good?

Teen Mom 2 star Corey Simms is officially offline. As the sixth season of the MTV reality series came to an end last night with its final episode, the Teen Mom 2: Unseen Moments special, during which Simms’ ex-wife, Leah Messer, called out his current wife, Miranda, for acting differently on the show than she does in real life, Simms deleted his Twitter account.

As of October 15, when fans visit the Teen Mom 2 star’s Twitter page, they receive a message, which reads, “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist! You can search Twitter using the search box below or return to the homepage.”

During Teen Mom 2 Season 6, Simms and his ex-wife, Messer, were at odds. Prior to the season, Simms and his wife, Miranda, attempted to gain full-custody of his and Messer’s 5-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah, and during the beginning of the season, Messer was seen going to court and submitting a drug test.

While no such news has yet been confirmed, Life & Style reported weeks ago that Simms and his family, including wife Miranda and father Jeff, had quit Teen Mom 2 after wrapping production on Season 6.

“Corey is done with the show. He’s told MTV he will not return for another season. He doesn’t think the money is worth the aggravation anymore… Jeremy also wants out of [Teen Mom 2], but he hasn’t made any formal moves yet.”

Simms has yet to publicly speak out about leaving the show, but as fans have seen all season long, he seems to be getting more and more frustrated with filming. Plus, he and Miranda have a baby on the way, so their lives will soon be much more hectic, and that may mean that they simply don’t have enough time to film Teen Mom 2.

Also during Teen Mom 2 Season 6, Simms was seen meeting with Messer to confront her about her allegedly questionable parenting. At the time, Simms claimed to have learned some disturbing information about Messer from his daughter, Aleeah.

“I was a sick a couple weekends ago and eating toast, and Aleeah’s like, ‘Oh I know how to make a toast.’ I’m like, ‘How the hell do you know how to make a toast? How do you even know how to use a toaster?’ This is what she said. She said, ‘Cause my mommy’s a sleepy head, and I have to make myself breakfast.’ Whenever your child says that, and she can show you how to make toast in a toaster to back up what she said, that’s hard!”

Also during the Teen Mom 2 episode, Simms claimed his daughters told him they often hide in the family’s laundry room when Messer and Calvert were fighting, because they were scared, which Messer denied.

As for Messer’s other relationship, her former marriage to Calvert, her divorce was finalized in June of this year, just before she returned home from a treatment facility in Arizona, where she claimed to be addressing issues of mental health, including depression and anxiety, and others have accused her of addressing her rumored addiction to prescription pills.

The sixth season of Teen Mom 2 saw the end of Messer’s relationship with Calvert, as well as his reaction to his divorce. While chatting with a friend, Calvert claimed he was thrilled to be done with Messer, and regretting having a child with her, although he didn’t regret the actual child (2-year-old Adalynn).

Teen Mom 2 has been airing on MTV since January, 2011.
