‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Spoilers: Jo Pregnant? April & Jackson Back Together?

Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 is off and running, but fans may see some serious shakeups with some of their favorite couples. The preview for this week’s all-new episode hints that Jo could be pregnant with Alex’s baby and that April and Jackson’s relationship woes will continue.

Design & Trend reports that Grey’s Anatomy’s latest episode is sure to be drama filled, as it seems that Jo will have a pregnancy scare. The new promo shows Jo freaking out and telling her friend Stephanie about a big secret that she’s hiding from her live-in boyfriend, Alex. When Stephanie asks Jo when she found out the big news, Jo replies “this morning.”

While it’s been established that Alex loves children and works every day of his life to save his very young patients, having his own child is something entirely different. Both Alex and Jo come from bad home, where they’ve struggled to find parents and a family and ended up in foster homes. Of course, Alex and Jo would likely be amazing parents given the fact that they have seen what neglect can do to a child as well as the fact that they are both doctors. However, their careers will take a bit of a hit if they start a family. It should be interesting to find out if another Grey’s Anatomy baby is on the way and what that may mean for Jo and Alex as a couple.

Meanwhile, another Seattle couple will be going through a lot of drama. April Kepner is finally back in town and ready to rekindle her romance with husband Jackson Avery, who had to work so hard to get past the fact that his wife had left him. In the last episode, April vowed to Jackson to do everything in her power to save her marriage and get Jackson to love her yet again.

April and Jackson have been through so much together. Grey’s Anatomy fans watched them go from being best friends to falling in love and basically being one of the show’s favorite couples. The moment that Jackson stopped April’s wedding and ran off with her was a great moment on the series that fans will never forget. However, the death of their infant son, Samuel, was another moment viewers won’t soon forget. The heartbreaking storyline was one of the most devastating that the show has ever seen and is what pushed April to join the army as a doctor and leave Jackson in the first place.

Now that April is officially home, she will have her work cut out for her in winning Jackson back, as this week’s promo shows the couple arguing over their relationship status and Jackson threatening to change the locks on their once-shared apartment so that April couldn’t return to the home.

Realty Today reports that a new couple will also be forming during Season 12 of Grey’s Anatomy as Arizona will find a new love interest as her ex-wife, Callie, continues to move on with her life and date another woman. Rumors are flying that Arizona may actually start dating the new intern who’s asked to be her roommate, the only catch is that he’s a man, which is something fans haven’t seen out of Arizona in the past.

Meanwhile, Meredith Grey’s story has taken a bit of a backseat thus far during Season 12, but reports suggest that she’ll eventually get a new love interest as well when new cast member Martin Henderson comes to the show as a hunky new doctor, who just might catch Meredith’s eye.
