Someone Is Leaving Secret Notes Of Positivity On Airplane Windows — Who Is It And Why Are They Doing It? [Video]
A video showing secret notes of positivity unceremoniously taped to airplane windows is making its rounds online. Now, people want to know who is the person behind the notes, and why he or she is doing it.
In a related report by the Inquisitr, artist Jim Darling also utilized airplane windows for inspiration, though his is more artistic. Instead of canvases, Darling would paint on the actual glass, or at least the area where the glass would be, of an airplane window. The pieces he would create would be scenes people would usually see outside of airplane windows while flying the friendly skies. However, Darling would incorporate his artistic style by painting said scenes as abstractions.
Needless to say, Jim Darling’s paintings within airplane windows positively inspire, bringing back a sense of nostalgic joy felt when traveling by airplane first came about. The unceremonious person creating secret positive notes and sticking them on airplane windows are also positively inspiring, too. However, they are more like general encouragement, a pick-me-up, or a command to own today. To be fair, such notes fit very well on airplane windows, because the general thought on flying is not very positive.
The question that needs to be asked is who is creating these secret positive notes and sticking them on windows? Why are they doing it in the first place? The YouTube page Seeker Stories actually tackled those questions and found out the beautiful mind behind the notes and their purpose. They recorded their story for the world to see.
As shown from the video above, the positive notes became known as “Words from the Window Seat,” and was created by flight attendant Taylor Tippett. According to the story, her very first note was inspired from a quote in one of her favorite books, How To Be An Explorer Of The World by Keri Smith.
Since then, Taylor Tippett has created numerous other “Words from the Window Seat” notes whenever she feels inspired, especially when it comes to spreading positivity. Apparently, the world watching on YouTube enjoys her endeavors, too. The video by Seeker Stories, which was uploaded on Friday, October 2, 2015, has already received over 60,000 views. Also, it is currently trending worldwide on YouTube, as it is the 21st most popular video on the #PopularOnYouTube list. True, there are some negative people who find Tippett’s positivity exhausting, but if one were to choose to be around someone positive like Tippett or a negative person, the positive person will always win. It is better to feel lifted up than dragged down.
Taylor Tippett has started “Words from the Window Seat” on her own to spread positivity, to induce a smile upon the faces of strangers, and to make their flight as comfortable as they can. However, her endeavors have made her somewhat of an online celebrity, and now others are now following in her footsteps, inspired to either do the same thing that she does on their own (though some copycats are trying to hog it as their own original idea). But if people want to know and follow the originator of “Words from the Window Seat,” Tippett has a public Instagram account, where she takes plenty of pictures of her travels as well as numerous notes posted on airplane windows.
