Meghan King Edmonds Served With A Letter Of Cease And Desist From ‘Real Housewives’ Co-Star Brooks Ayers
Meghan King Edmonds has reportedly been sent a letter of cease and desist due to her ongoing claims against Brooks Ayers on The Real Housewives of Orange County, in the press and on social media. Although Season 10 of the Bravo reality show is nearing its end, the drama appears to be in full swing, and if Meghan King Edmonds doesn’t silence her antics against her co-star, she could be facing a lawsuit.

Meghan King Edmonds has been leading the pack, so to speak, when it comes to the questions and doubt surrounding Ayers’ cancer diagnosis. Throughout the season, Meghan King Edmonds has made it clear she’s not buying that Ayers really has cancer, and she’s made it her business to make sure the truth is ultimately revealed. She’s even called two of his doctors, and an ex-girlfriend, in hopes of gaining more information to possibly use against him.
After speaking to one of Ayers’ alleged doctors during an episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County last month, Meghan King Edmonds claimed the person he was working with didn’t even treat cancer, and when she called the office where he allegedly had his scans completed, they reportedly informed Meghan King Edmonds that they no longer offer that service. Meghan King Edmonds also claimed Ayers’ ex-girlfriend had told her Ayers faked cancer once before.
However, according to Ayers, and ex-girlfriend Vicki Gunvalson, his cancer is real.
On Monday’s episode of the Bravo reality show, Ayers presented Tamra Barney with his medical records in an attempt to silence the rumors once and for all. Unfortunately for Ayers, Barney was confused by the documents, and didn’t know it was possible for blood cancers to cause masses. Meghan King Edmonds then alleged Ayers had falsified his cancer documents.
Following the episode, Ayers was on Twitter, where he re-tweeted a number of messages from fans, which suggested he should consider suing Meghan King Edmonds due to her comments against him. He also said fans should “stay tuned” for a possible court appearance.
“[Meghan King Edmonds] has scoffed that ‘Oh my God, Brooks is threatening to sue me.’ But what people don’t know is I have sent her a formal letter from my attorney…demanding certain things,” Ayers explained to Us Weekly on October 1.
“I do have significant grounds if she doesn’t change her ways and she’s got an opportunity to do that. [This is] defamation. I’m hitting back. She has a chance to make it right and we’ll see if she does or not.”
“[Meghan King Edmonds] doesn’t really care about me sincerely, she cares about being relevant on the show, and that saddens me, and that’s immaturity on her part,” Ayers continued of Meghan King Edmonds. “But my numbers have improved and my inflammations are gone. I’m not out of the woods, it doesn’t mean my cancer is gone, but I’m heading in the right direction.”
