Kim Kardashian Defends Her Maternity Style
Kim Kardashian is getting slammed for her maternity style once again. All eyes have been on the 34-year-old reality star as she’s been pregnant with her second child, due in December.
Kim Kardashian’s maternity style is getting slammed left and right. It’s not surprising to see the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star continuing to wear tight dresses and high heels during her second pregnancy. She was already slammed during her first pregnancy when she was seen wearing the ill-fitted and uncomfortable outfits. Fans have been concerned that Kardashian has been putting herself and her baby in danger.

Kim took her new website and app to address those who slam her maternity style on a daily basis. According to her blog post, she has a penchant for this sophisticated style and is not set on changing it anytime soon. She wrote, “I know what I like, plus, I am confident and not trying to hide my bump. I actually want to accentuate it.”
On Monday, Kardashian stepped out in a gray curve-hugging dress she wore underneath a matching Haider Ackermann trench coat. She paired her look with clear lucite heeled sandals that were four inches high, according to a previous report via the Hollywood Life. It looks like the new shoes weren’t supporting Kardashian as it looked like they were bending underneath her foot, almost breaking, every time she took a step.

The shoes are party of Kanye West’s Yeezy collection and won’t be available for purchase until Spring 2016. It looks like Kim should also save these shoes for next year. She completed her street style look with black sunglasses that matched her manicure and pedicure, according to In Style Magazine.
Kim Kardashian continued to push the boundaries of her maternity style when she was photographed wearing a tight nude calf-link skirt with a revealing mesh top and a long nude overcoat. Kim slicked her dark hair back in a low bun as she completed her look with dark sunglasses and nude heeled sandals.

So who’s to blame for Kardashian’s maternity style? That would be none other than her husband Kanye West. She has talked about how her husband has influenced her style in the past, and in a recent interview with CNN Style, Kardashian admitted that West made her the style icon that she is today.
“Back in the day, I thought I had the best style. I look back at outfits and I’m mortified. I remember one day, he brought me Carine Roitfeld’s book and was like, ‘You should be studying this book, this is the fashion bible.’ I was like, ‘Who’s Carine?’ I knew nothing, and he said, ‘Watch, one day she’s going to style you.'”
This quashed the reports that claimed her controversial maternity style has caused her clash ties with Kanye West. According to Closer magazine, in a report shared via Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Kanye was the one who chose Kim’s black lacy Givenchy gown at New York Fashion Week. But when she caught wind that her style was mocked by both her fans and haters on the internet, Kim was furious.
“She turned to Kanye for style advice and he suggested she sex it up in the low-cut black dress. She trusted him but was horrified when she saw the photos, bursting into tears and lashing out at Kanye.”
Not everyone has been hating her looks. A recent report via Us Weekly says that Kim Kardashian has been making some memorable moments with her maternity style. She’s been showing off her growing bump and hourglass figure with extremely sexy and fitted styles. Some of Kardashian’s highlights would be the black feathered Roberto Cavalli dress she wore to the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards in Jun and the tan Balmain maxi dress she wore at the 2015 MTV VMAs in August.
