iPhone 6s And 6s Plus Cause Problems: Time To Buy A Galaxy Note 5?
The iPhone 6s launch today didn’t go smoothly for everybody. GottaBe Mobile has the news.
“We’re just hours removed from the start of the iPhone 6s release and we’re already hearing about a collection of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus problems. The earliest problems include problems activating the iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone 6s iCloud Restore problems.”
The site suggests that if you are running into an iPhone 6s iCloud restore problem, you should set your phone up as new, install the iOS 9.1 update, choose restore, and then restore from iCloud. If you can’t activate your phone, GottaBe Mobile suggests that you try restarting your device or try another connection.
A lot of people on Twitter are unhappy about several iPhone 6s problems.

This isn’t good publicity for Apple, who already is suffering from reviews that are good, but not as good as Apple is used to. The Wall Street Journal criticizes the battery life of the new iPhone.
“Let’s get this out of the way first. The No. 1 thing people want in a smartphone is better battery life. And the iPhone 6s doesn’t deliver that.”
The review adds that the regular iPhone 6s will get you through the day, but you’ll need to recharge by nighttime. The battery life on the iPhone 6s Plus is better, but there still may be some who will need to recharge it before bedtime. This is in stark contrast to the Galaxy Note 5, which gives even the most powerful users a full day’s use.
Samsung clearly did their quality control before releasing the Galaxy Note 5 to stores. This paid off; there weren’t many issues reported on the first day of release like there are with the new iPhones. It’s also important to note that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 screen has a Quad HD display, while the iPhone 6 Plus has a regular HD display. The 1334 x 750 pixel resolution screen of the regular iPhone 6s isn’t even a full HD display.
The Galaxy Note 5 will also be compatible with Samsung’s Gear VR virtual reality headset, which will be released in November. It was rumored that Apple was creating a virtual reality headset to work with the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, but there has been no sign that an announcement of such a device will happen anytime soon. Which phone would you rather have — the Galaxy Note 5 or the iPhone 6s? Let us know in the comments section.
