Katy Perry, John Mayer Back Together, ‘Held Hands’ At Allison Williams’ Wedding
Katy Perry and John Mayer’s relationship status has been making their head spins for most of 2015. Are they on again or off again? New reports are claiming that Katy Perry and John Mayer are back together again, and are, in fact, very happy together.
The confusing couple was spotted holding hands at Allison Williams’ wedding, according to several new reports. Pictures of Katy Perry and John Mayer sitting next to each other immediately went viral on social media. The hot and cold couple were spotted looking happy on September 19, like the reports claimed.
An inside source also confirmed to People magazine that Katy and John are “definitely back together.”
“John and Katy looked happy. They held hands and sat next to each other during the wedding ceremony.”
Perry was spotted wearing a retro-style long-sleeve floral dress. She wore her signature dark locks with a middle part. Meanwhile, Mayer looked dapper in his black suit with a skinny black tie and dark sunglasses. Perry clung onto her boyfriend as he smiled at the ceremony.

The musicians first split in February of 2014, but have been on and off since. They first reignited romance rumors when they were spotted going on a double date with Allison Williams and her then-fiancé, Ricky Van Veen, at the Chateau Marmont in January. Katy and John split up twice this year by ending their relationship in March, after reuniting in January.
Another insider told People magazine at the time that Perry and Mayer “are so in love. They missed each other.” The couple was recently spotted snuggling each other at the Grateful Dead concert around the Fourth of July weekend. Apparently, Perry and Mayer didn’t want their romance to steal the attention away from the band, who were celebrating their Fare Thee Well Tour. A third insider told People that Perry and Mayer didn’t stand “too close” to each other.
“Someone handed her a tie-dyed rose. Katy was extremely polite, gracious and friendly.”
It looks like Katy and John weren’t over after all, since they were also spotted together by eyewitnesses back in August. Another inside source told the Daily Mail that they’re trying to make their long-distance relationship work, since Katy has been busy performing on her Prismatic World Tour.
“They’re spending a lot of time at his house talking over their feelings and trying to see if they can make it work.”
