Bravo Couple Vicki Gunvalson And Brooks Ayers: Who Dumped Who? Tamra Barney Is ‘Full Of S**t,’ Claims Source

Bravo couple Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers parted ways last month, and ever since, rumors have been swirling regarding why they parted ways. In addition, fans have been wondering who prompted the split.

Although the Bravo couple released a joint statement on Facebook, hinting their breakup was a mutual decision, Tamra Barney recently revealed new details on Instagram, claiming the Bravo couple’s breakup was initiated by Ayers.

Days later, her allegation regarding the Bravo couple has been shot down.

“Tamra is full of s**t and has no idea how Vicki and Brooks’ breakup went down,” a source told Radar Online on September 15.

“When Vicki and he got back from Miami in early August, they sat down together and just opened up their hearts about the way things were going and both of them, equally, decided that it was best for the both of them if they went on separate paths.”

The Bravo couple’s relationship has been seen on The Real Housewives of Orange County for the last few seasons, and all the while, it has been a hot topic for their co-stars, Barney included. When the Bravo couple first started dating, Barney questioned Ayers’ motives, and years later, despite their seemingly settling their differences outside of the show, Barney has questioned his cancer diagnosis.

While the Bravo couple has officially went their separate ways, they remain in touch, and on social media, Gunvalson continuously denies allegations of Ayers having faked his cancer diagnosis.

“Of course they still talk and they probably always will,” said a second Radar Online source. “She will love again one day, but not right now. Right now she is focusing on loving those around her, including her children and her friends that she keeps close to heart.”

The Bravo couple had grown extremely close in the last couple of years. At the end of 2013, Ayers was reportedly diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodkin’s lymphoma, and all the while, Gunvalson had been at his side. Then, in early 2015, Gunvalson lost her mother, Joanne Steinmetz, while filming the 10th season of the show.

“This past year has been so trying on Vicki, but the negative comments made about her from the other housewives have only helped to make her stronger.”
