Melissa Gorga And Dina Manzo Celebrate Joe And Teresa Giudice’s Daughter’s Birthday

The preview for Joe and Teresa Giudice’s new Bravo special, The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In, shows that while Teresa serves her 15-month prison sentence, Joe has the support and help of Teresa’s brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Melissa Gorga, in raising the couple’s four daughters. Hours after the preview was released, Melissa posted a photo to her Instagram photo that shows that she and her husband continue to play an active and loving role in their nieces’ lives.

The photo shows the Gorgas celebrating their niece Audriana Giudice’s birthday. Audriana is Joe and Teresa’s youngest child. Also in the photo are Audriana’s grandparents, sisters and cousins. Melissa wished her niece a happy birthday and declared her love for her.

“Happy birthday Beautiful Audriana?? we love you so much…”

Also helping Audriana celebrate her birthday was Dina Manzo. Dina posted a photo that shows her hugging Audriana, who is dressed up as a princess. Dina, who returned to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, for its sixth season after being away for a few seasons, has a good friendship with Teresa. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen said in March that he’s keeping tabs on how Teresa’s doing via Dina.

Earlier in the day, E! News released the preview for Joe and Teresa Giudice’s upcoming three-part special. The preview shows Joe taking care of the couple’s four children, doing tasks that Teresa used to do, such as brushing the girls’ hair, preparing their meals and diving them to their activities. The preview also shows Joe helping oldest daughter, Gia, with her eighth grade prom and graduation, and contemplating the possibility that he may be deported to Italy.

In one scene, Joe, who will serve his 41-month prison sentence after Teresa finishes hers, expresses admiration for how much Teresa did for the family.

“It’s amazing how she still controls everything from in there, you know what I mean?”

Another scene shows Teresa, who began her sentence in early January, saying a prayer with her family via a prison phone call.

“Oh, please God, bring me home to my family as soon as possible. And bless my four daughters and my husband. Amen.”

Melissa Gorga is featured heavily in the preview. In one scene, Melissa asks Gia, while the two are getting pedicures, how her father is doing.

“I mean like he’s pretty good. He helps out, he tries his best but I mean like it’s rough without my mom there.”

Another scene shows Melissa yelling hi to Teresa through the phone. At another moment, Melissa tells her husband that she’s hoping that their two families will once and for all move forward from their past drama. The preview also shows Joe Gorga asking Teresa if he can visit her. The Gorgas and Giudices were estranged for several seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey but ended their public fighting prior to the sixth season.

Part 1 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In airs on Sunday, Oct. 11. It’s not clear from the preview whether Dina Manzo will be shown, either alongside Joe and Melissa Gorga or with Teresa Giudice’s husband, on the special. As the Inquisitr reported, Dina’s sister and former Real Housewives star Caroline Manzo confirmed in August that Dina now lives in California.
