‘Fear The Walking Dead’: Sneak Peek Into Episode 3
There will be a hiatus from AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead next week due to the Labor day holiday in the U.S., but that doesn’t mean there were no teaser videos were released to tie fans over until September 13 when it returns.
WARNING: This article contains potential spoilers in regards to AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead. If you are not up to date with all episodes, please proceed with caution.
In fact, there are two videos to keep fans happy and to add to speculation as to how the remainder of Season 1 of Fear The Walking Dead will unfold. Already, there are conspiracy theories developing in relation to this series, some even suggesting that the whole thing could be a coma dream, thanks to Nick Clark (played by Frank Dillane) being involved in a car accident in Episode 1.
But what can we glean from the following trailers of Fear The Walking Dead? Let’s have a look.
The first trailer aired at the conclusion of Episode 2 (entitled “So Far, Yet So Close”). This one is more of a snapshot of scenes from the next episode. Amid all the panic and discussion of what is going on, there is the threat of fire destroying the barber shop belonging to the Salazar’s where Travis (Cliff Curtis) is sheltering with his ex-wife Liza (Elizabeth Rodriguez) and their son, Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie). Chris notices just how hot the walls are and their need to escape is urgent as a result. They decide it is safer outside with the rioters than it is inside the barber shop that has only one way out. Meanwhile, back at home, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) can hear someone inside their house and the panic really ramps up as they fall silent to wait for who ever it is. The audience — along with the characters — have no idea if it is friend or foe.
In this sneak peek video of Episode 3 (entitled “The Dog”), Travis is trying to get Liza, Chris, and his new friends, the Salazar’s out of the city where rioting was occurring and — presumably — back to his house where his girlfriend, Madison (Kim Dickens) is. They pass the hospital where Nick was recently, and there is chaos all around. Shots are fired into the undead outside the hospital and the characters in the back of Travis’ pick up truck have to duck for cover.
Added along with the video promos is the following image of Madison and Alicia that was posted to Alycia Debnam Carey:
