Justin Bieber’s Hair Is Causing Lazy Eye And Bad Posture
Damn you Justin Bieber and your hairstyle choices! When little tweens are not busy swooning all over the Biebs it turns out his popular “hair-hanging-over-the-eye” style may be causing kids to develop lazy eye.
Leading Australian expert of Optometry Andrew Hogan recently sat down with the Daily Telegraph to discuss the haircut and he says it may be causing amblyopia, better known as lazy eye.
According to the optometrist:
“If a young emo chap has a fringe covering one eye all the time, that eye won’t see a lot of detail,” while he adds, “And if it happens from a young age, that eye can become amblyotic.”
Hogan warns:
“If you walk around with an eye patch on all day, then that eye will end up seeing more poorly than the other eye.”
If that isn’t bad enough news for Justin Bieber and his haircut loving fans a veteran hairdresser also warns that posture problems are being discovered as kids force their heads to one side in order to clear the bangs from their line of view. The veteran hairstylist quips:
“I have to wonder how they don’t get a stiff neck.”
Not everyone believes all the eye and posture hype surrounding the Justin Bieber haircut hype, a leading opthamologist Tells TVNZ that the concern is all a bit “silly.”
Sure Justin Bieber may not actually be causing eye or neck problems, but I am almost certain he is responsible for the ringing in my ears every single time one of his songs sneaks up on me when I’m listening to the radio.
