Documentary “After Porn Ends” Highlights Dark Side of Porn Industry [Video]

The life of a “Porn Star” may seem on the surface to include drama, intrigue and in the end bring with it tons of hardcore sex. A new documentary set to be released On Demand, “After Porn Ends”, documents the limits it puts on the actor’s careers. It also shows the difficulty and complications it puts into personal relationships like their love lives and family lives.

“After Porn Ends,” takes you deep into the personal and professional lives of those in the adult entertainment industry. It focuses on the lives of the actors after they leave the industry and transition to life after porn. The documentary features porn stars Asia Carrera, Mary Carey, Houston and others.

The film describes a career in porn as a “brief shining moment” of fame, sex and money.

One of the actors in the film declares boldly,

“Nobody thinks it’s going to end,”

The porn stars in the movie talk about the de-humanizing element of porn that those who promote the industry like to pretend doesn’t exist.

Former Porn Star Crissy Moran said,

“I just started feeling really depressed about it. I can’t do anything else. This is what I’m good at. This is all I know. What are you going to do ten years from now when your kid brings home a magazine?. It doesn’t go away.”

The video is planning on being released On Demand May 21st and will be available on DVD in August according to the Huffington Post.
