Lady Gaga Wears Another Meat Dress In Tokyo
Lady Gaga pulled her meat dress out of the closet for a performance in Tokyo this week, and just to make sure that her bizarre fashion choice was seen by the whole world, she posted a picture to Twitter.
Lady Gaga wore meat dress 2.0 while performing her song “Americano” during her Born This Way Ball concert in Tokyo. It isn’t clear who designed the dress but the photo was taken by Terry Richardson. People Magazine reports that that the new dress probably isn’t made of real meat. The pig carcasses surrounding Gaga, according to InStyle, were made out of plastic.
Web Pro News reports that the original meat dress was designed by Franc Fernandez for Lady Gaga who wore it at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
Lady Gaga’s global tour will hit Taiwan, Australia, Finland, Sweeden, Italy, Spain, and several other countries by the end of the Summer. One place Gaga won’t be going to, however, is Indonesia.
Gaga is scheduled to play in Jakarta next month but E! Online reports that the country has decided not to grant Gaga a permit for her show. Several conservative groups have been protesting the concert, saying that Gaga’s act is obscene and vulgar.
What would make them think that?
