John Stamos might be excited about the new Full House film coming on Saturday, but there’s one cast mate of the hit ABC show that won’t be watching the Unauthorized Full House Story on Lifetime — Candace Cameron Bure.
According to The Wrap , Bure, who just got a new gig on the spin-off Netflix show Fuller House , isn’t here for the Lifetime movie. When asked if she was aware and if she had seen parts of it, Cameron Bure said, “I’m aware. I have not although my friend texted me this morning and said, ‘I think your ‘mom’ is in the movie too. She showed me a little picture.”
She continued, “I will not be watching it this weekend. I’ll be out of town with my husband enjoying time with him.”
We don’t blame Candace for wanting to spend quality time with her husband. After all, she’s pretty busy these days. Not only is she an actress again, with her own show on Netflix, but she’s also signed on to be a co-host for the upcoming season of The View .
As the Inquisitr reported, Bure, along with Paula Faris, has signed on for the upcoming season. According to Variety , “As for Cameron Bure, she’s being courted for the show’s Republican seat, although her schedule makes joining The View more complicated.”
“ABC executives are hoping the former child actress can give a boost to the The View by espousing more controversial opinions on the show’s signature Hot Topics segments. She impressed network bosses on a recent show where she defended an Oregon bakery for refusing to bake a cake for a lesbian wedding, an exchange that went viral on social media.”
As for the Unauthorized Full House Story , John Stamos seems to be very interested in the made-for-TV movie. Stamos has already come forward to give some validity to one storyline the Lifetime movie is exploring. In the movie, Stamos tries to get the Olsen twins fired for crying on set. Instead of denying the story, the actor told TVLine , “The Olsen twins cried a lot. It was very difficult to get the shot. So that actually is 100% accurate. I said, ‘Get those kids…’ [gestures to get rid of them], and they brought in a couple of unattractive redheaded kids. We tried that for a while and that didn’t work. ‘Alright, get the Olsen twins back.’ That’s the story.”
It sounds like he may also watch the movie. Perhaps he’ll fill Bure in?
