Bigfoot Sighting North Carolina: Video Believed To Depict Legendary Creature [Video]
Was Bigfoot sighted in North Carolina? That is one man thinks after shooting a video of what he believes is the legendary creature.
Eric Walters was recently taking a vacation with his wife, another couple, and his dog, Zippy, a Yorkshire terrier, in Hendersonville, North Carolina. He went to take Zippy for a walk through the forest on Thursday morning, and it was then that he inadvertently captured the video while he thought he was filming a bear. In the video, a large black figure can be seen standing in a nearby field. The figure appears to have fur, and extra long arms.
According to the Daily Mail, Walters had been warned that there was a bear roaming in the area, so he was keeping his dog extra close. However, Zippy, who was not a fan of the creature, tried to take off after it, letting off several yelps and scaring the creature, which then ran off through the field.
While Walters is neither convinced that the figure is or is not a legendary Sasquatch, he is asking people to keep an open mind when they watch the video.
“Either there’s a Sasquatch out there or someone is trying to play a practical joke,” Walters said, according to the Citizen-Times.
Either way, Walters said he is proud of his little pooch for saving the day.
“Zippy could tell I was scared and got so riled up that he got loose and went after it,” he said. “It turns out the brave little guy chased the Sasquatch away and saved me from a possible encounter. I love him more than ever.”
“Yorkies are small in size, but bigger than even a Sasquatch in heart. I’ve read that some people think I was a little over dramatic, but how would you react to a Sasquatch,” Walters, who could be heard breathing heavily as he shot the video said.
