Strange Mars Rock Anomaly In Curiosity Rover Photo Not ‘Alien Crab Monster’ But Illuminati ‘Sun God’ Symbol, Says UFOlogist
An anomaly spotted in a photograph of the Martian terrain by NASA’s Curiosity rover went viral on social media early last week, sparking imaginative speculation among UFOlogist and Mars anomaly hunters.
The strange anomaly was the subject of long debates in online UFO and space anomaly forums, such as the Facebook group called “Journey to the Surface of the Mars,” as RT notes.
While some members of the group declared that Curiosity rover had discovered evidence of large animal life in the form of a crab or spider monster on the red planet, skeptics dismissed the suggestions, saying that it was nothing but a rock formation.
“Now this one is AWESOME!!!”
“It looks a human kind of face in a type spider body!”
And indeed, close-ups appear to reveal an alien crab monster, a spider monster, or a giant scorpion with a sting at the end of its tail, positioned over the space between two rocks.
But when UFOlogists with UFO Sightings Hotspot zoomed in on the image for thorough scrutiny (see image below), they came up with an original interpretation of the oddly shaped “rock formation” that links the anomaly with — you guessed it right — the Illuminati.
According to the blog, the mysterious object looks more like an ancient “serpent Sun God symbol” positioned, presumably, as a seal at the entrance of an ancient cave-temple dedicated to the Martian Sun God.
The close shot below reveals the structure of the anomaly in detail. You can see rays radiating from the solar disc. You can also see what appears to be the face of the Sun God in the “solar disc,” an imagery reminiscent of the face of the Teletubbies’ giggling Sun Baby.
Identification of the anomaly as a “Sun God symbol” raised speculations about an ancient Sun God-worshipping culture on the planet Mars, and possible links with the Illuminati. According to UFO Sightings Hotspot, the “Sun God Symbol” is evidence of an ancient Martian civilization that worshipped the Sun God, a “satanic deity,” according to the blogger.
“In the mythology of the primitive world… the serpent was universally represented by the sun symbol, the circle or disk.
The Ancient Mystery Religions venerated the sun, the solar disk, as deity. And these pagan philosophies form the basis for the worship of the Illuminati and indicate the importance of the sun as symbol of satanic deity.”
Quoting SETI astronomer Seth Shostak, the Huffington Post attributed the “wild” speculation among space anomaly hunters to the “phenomenon called pareidolia.”
“Those that send them [anomaly photos] to me are generally quite excited, as they claim that these frequently resemble SOMETHING you wouldn’t expect to find on the rusty, dusty surface of the Red Planet. It’s usually some sort of animal, but occasionally even weirder objects such as automobile parts. Maybe they think there are cars on Mars.”
UFOlogists and space anomaly hunters roll their eyes when dull, unimaginative scientists like Shostak get going about “pareidolia,” supposedly a bug of the human mind that makes us see familiar objects in random shapes and objects.
Since when did scientists abandon the empiricist-materialist maxim that “seeing is believing?”
Even Shostak admitted to the Huffington Post that pareidolia is not a vision defect but an evolutionary adaptation that confers survival value.
“Far from being a vision defect, pareidolia has a lot of survival value if you need to quickly spot predators in the jungle, for instance.”
The evidence of an “alien space crab,” or if you prefer, an ancient Illuminati “Sun God symbol,” can be seen in the photo. So, what other proof do scientists need?
