Justin Bieber Escorts Teen To Quinceañera, Meets Down Syndrome Child In ‘Knock Knock Live’
Justin Bieber escorts a teenage girl to her surprise Quinceañera party and meets a child with Down Syndrome who raps, in the second edition of Ryan Seacrest’s Knock Knock Live TV show.
As the name suggests, the show gets celebrities to surprise unsuspecting members of the public while a live camera crew shoots. Invitees also have the chance to play games and receive money. All of which is part of the series’ “dream come true” premise.
Justin Bieber will be one of the stars featured on Tuesday’s episode of Knock Knock Live. Based on previews, which arrived online on Monday, it looks like the superstar delighted those he met, and also had a blast.
After filming, the 21-year-old singer sent an appreciative message to Seacrest on July 26.
The Biebs tweeted, “Something really special happened to me on #KnockKnockLive this Tuesday. Thanks @RyanSeacrest”
In one teaser clip, the “Where Are Ü Now” singer is seen escorting a young Hispanic girl — dressed in a voluminous, pink ballgown — from her home into a limousine, along with an older woman who appears to be the girl’s mother.
The girl (who is called Ashley) does not know she is being taken to her Quinceañera. This is a Latin American celebration of a girl’s fifteenth birthday.
“Let’s rock ‘n’ roll,” a casually dressed Bieber is heard telling the teen, before opening the limo door for her. At one point, he hammily yells “I love Ashley” in the car.
To which, Ashley laughed and said, “I love Justin.”
As the limo arrives outside the venue, Bieber promises his date, “It’s going to be amazing. We’re going to have a lot of fun tonight.”
Viewers get an insight into why Ashley made the cut on Knock Knock Live when Bieber says to her, “Last year, I know was really tough for you. You missed a lot of fun things. I know you missed your Quinceañera.”
The preview footage ends just as the evidently excited young girl says “Oh my gosh, this is awesome,” while Bieber leads her inside a building.
In another teaser video, Bieber is seen arriving at a church to meet a single father and his little boy named Noah, who was born with Down Syndrome.
The toddler demonstrates an affinity for rapping, something his father, Nikia, also has and uses in church.
After the Biebs surprises Nikia and cutely introduces himself to their young son, he asks to see the child rap.
“For me, just being able to witness that. It almost brought tears to my eyes,” Bieber tells viewers at one point. Later, he is seen praising the boy’s father, saying, “It’s so amazing what you’re doing with this little guy. You’re raising so much awareness for kids like this.”
Justin continues, “Actually, I have something for you,” just as the preview finishes. This is a prelude to him handing Nikia a check to help provide for Noah’s special needs.
Not surprisingly, Noah reacts emotionally to Bieber’s visit and receiving the show’s check. Viewers can watch the sweet, feel-good moment by tuning into tonight’s Knock Knock Live at 9/8c on Fox.
The Biebs subsequently tweeted Seacrest and said he “cried” after watching the pre-aired show. He added that giving back felt better than anything.
@RyanSeacrest damn I just watched the clips for tonight back and I even cried. Lol. Got me. #KnockKnockLive thanks bro

The Canadian’s appearance on the show comes ahead of his “Big Announcement” tease on Monday, which Justin Bieber fans will likely be hoping relates to a new single reveal or details about the heartthrob’s new album.
