Bethenny Frankel Vs. Kristen Taekman: Fans Split Over Press Feud

Bethenny Frankel is back on The Real Housewives of New York, and some of the ladies were very excited to see Frankel return. In fact, Kristen Taekman and Heather Thomson had both released statements, saying that they were excited to meet Bethenny and get to know her. However, Bethenny wasn’t thrilled that her co-stars were talking about her in the press.

During their charity meet-up where the ladies made jeans, Bethenny Frankel confronted Kristen about her comments to the media. It seemed rather innocent, but Frankel wasn’t happy about it. Some viewers felt she was overreacting, but Frankel decided to let her Twitter followers decide. And as it turns out, she didn’t get overwhelming support.

According to a new tweet, Bethenny Frankel‘s fans do think that she may have overreacted a little bit when it comes to Taekman’s comments.

“I’ll post the article & as always let the viewers be the judge,” Bethenny Frankel revealed on Twitter as the episode was airing, adding later, “For those of you who watched #RHONY last pm #thebisback #donttalkaboutmeinthepress #imadud,” with a clip to the statements made by Kristen.

But not everyone thought that Bethenny was justified in getting so upset. Sure, Taekman could have texted Frankel to let her know that comments were being released, but it wasn’t something damaging to her reputation.

“Who cares. I’m a fan of yours Bethenny, but get over it,” one person wrote, while another added, “Oh come on Bethenny, you know you were rude to Kristen from the start. Never lose your witt, but be nice! xo.”

But some of her fans clearly understood her frustrations.

“I saw the episode and I am completely on your side and understand your frustration! Express your opinions but not in the press!” one follower said, with another pointing out, “She’s just trying to stay relevant on the back of you & your fame. She’s a non-mutha-effing factor & not worth space in your brain.”

Bethenny Frankel shared that she doesn’t appreciate people talking about her in the press, especially her friends. Frankel wants her friends to be open and honest with her, and keep her private life away from the spotlight. And Kristen crossed that line with some innocent comments, including that you can’t judge a book by its cover, according to the Inquisitr.

“What she said in quotes wasn’t kind. I read it, and I know its context. This happens to be something I do have a lot of experience with. Glad we could move on,” Bethenny said, with Kristen defending her actions, “The other women have put many things out in the press about me, and even much more about Bethenny that did not come from me. Yes, it was in quotes, and I own it. I said it, and I stand by it. You can’t judge a book by its cover!”
