Rachel McAdams And Taylor Kitsch Dating: ‘It Hasn’t Been Long, But It’s Serious,’ Insider Says [Video]

True Detective co-stars Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch are dating, and sources close to the two actors say it’s serious. “I don’t know if it’s full-blown love yet, but they talk constantly,” a source confirmed to Us Weekly. “They’re really into each other. She talks about him all the time!”

Rachel and Taylor’s “serious” relationship comes a month after the True Detective stars dined at West Hollywood’s Osteria Mozza on June 2. According to one source close to McAdams and Kitsch, “It hasn’t been long. But it’s serious,” reports Us.

They were “friends for years” before their show became a huge hit, adds a second source close to Rachel, but “they grew closer on set.”

True Detectives recently wrapped up its second season to rave reviews from fans.

Although she’s gone on record that she doesn’t think workplace romances are a good idea, Rachel frequently finds her partners there. An insider confirmed that in April, the busy actress “definitely dated Jake Gyllenhaal while filming Southpaw,” before dating Taylor Kitsch.

Rachel’s most famous relationship, however, was with The Notebook co-star Ryan Gosling, who she dated off and on for over two years, reports the Daily Mail.

Taylor Kitsch was reportedly dating fitness instructor Jennifer Welch, according to Us Weekly, but it seems that Kitsch’s romance with her has fizzled in favor of his new found relationship with McAdams.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Rachel McAdams recently opened up in an interview with Glamour magazine about her relationships with her True Detective costars. “A set may seem like a good place for romance, but I don’t think it’s very conducive; it’s too distracting,” she told the magazine. “Every relationship I’ve had with a coworker comes after the fact.”

In that same interview, Rachel dished about how she once had pink hair: ” I always wanted pink hair. I wanted to do my whole head, but my hairstylist, Robert, was like, ‘How about we start small?; I absolutely loved it. I still think about doing blue at some point, but I don’t like to change my hair before I’m about to do [a film]—you never know what that character’s going to be.”

When asked about what she would do if she wasn’t acting, McAdams replied, ” I wouldn’t mind running a restaurant. I’m not an amazing cook, but I can follow a recipe.”

Although Rachel McAdams hasn’t yet opened up in interviews about her romance with Taylor Kitsch, she does have hard and fast rule about love: “I try not to give advice on love. That’s a slippery slope.”
