The First Half Of The San Diego Comic Con Schedule Has Just Been Announced

San Diego Comic Con is the go-to event of the year when it comes to anything relating to television, movies, cosplay, or general geekiness. This year it will run between July 9-12, 2015, with a preview night on July 8. The event will be held at the San Diego Convention Center.

So far, the San Diego Comic Con website has rolled out their schedule for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. As yet, the comprehensive schedules for Saturday and Sunday have not been announced. Deadline has broken the schedule up into “television” and “film” lists to make it a bit easier for fans.

The San Diego Comic Con kicks off with their special preview night on Wednesday July 8 from 5:00 p.m., PDT. Included in this night will be the Warner Bros. preview screening of four anticipated pilots for 2015-16. Supergirl, Blindspot, Containment, and Lucifer will all get their turn in the spotlight. Thursday, July 9, kicks off at 10:00 a.m. with a screening of Amazon’s Hand of God.

“The series centers on Harris, a powerful and corrupt judge who comes apart at the seams in the aftermath of a family tragedy. Stricken by grief, and in the midst of a mental and emotional breakdown, he experiences what he believes to be a religious epiphany.”

DC collectibles, Disney, and the Peanuts 65th anniversary panel are some of the other offerings at San Diego Comic Con on Thursday. The full schedule for Thursday can be found here.

On Friday, July 10, the San Diego Comic Con kicks off with a panel called 21st-Century Creators. The panel will discuss the changes that occurred in the comic book industry in the 21st century. Cartoonists will be present also discussing how their jobs have changed in the digital era. Also on Friday, there will be panels featuring Orphan Black, The Big Bang Theory, The Walking Dead, and Fear The Walking Dead. The full schedule for Friday can be found here.
