Criss Angel Magic Stunt Goes Horribly Wrong, ‘America’s Got Talent’ Magician Spencer Horsman Gets Trapped In Water Filled Box
A video of a stunt going badly wrong at a Criss Angel rehearsal for his upcoming show, The Supernaturalists, has emerged, and it shows Spencer Horsman trapped inside a box filled with water that was dangling dozens of feet above stage.
The footage, which you can view below, will immediately remind you just how dangerous the profession is. However, you should be warned that the video is rather disturbing to watch, so proceed with caution.
The footage was uploaded to YouTube by Alex Belfield, who simply captioned it with, “When magic goes wrong at Criss Angel ‘Supernaturalists’. Criss has re-scheduled two performances in July.”
In the YouTube video, panic ensues when it’s realized that Horsman, who rose to prominence when he participated in America’s Got Talent back in 2012, hasn’t been able to escape the box of water.
A hoard of individuals soon rush over to bring the tank of water down to the ground, while individuals can be heard shouting, “Get him down!” One man even jumps on top of the tank and immediately begins to open it up as he panically looks to get Horsman out from the water and back to consciousness.
At one point, someone can even be heard screaming, while throughout the clip, Horsman can simply be seen inside the box motionless and floating.
Because of this incident, Angel has decided to cancel two performances of Supernaturalists. Even though the clip doesn’t show it, according to the Mirror, Horsman was able to make a full recovery from this accident, and it’s even thought that he will return to work in the next few days.
Criss Angel released a statement, explaining: “In an effort to ensure the safety of the cast and crew, we will be moving the opening night of Supernaturalists to June 26. This show will make you question what you see with your own eyes.”
