Amal Clooney, Pal Stella McCartney Party It Up In London
Amal Clooney and her pal, Stella McCartney, hit the streets of London for a girls’ night out Tuesday night, and both women drew more buzz for what they were wearing than for what they did.
As the Daily Mail reports, Amal and Stella painted the town red so Amal could get a break from her grinding day job: the wife of George Clooney is still a lawyer (or “barrister,” as they’re called over there), in town to argue a case. The two women were seen partying it up at Electric House, a members-only club in London’s trendy Notting HIll neighborhood.
Since Amal’s party companion for the night is a fashion designer (Stella McCartney, daughter of Sir Paul McCartney, has her own line), it only makes sense that the two women wore outfits from Stella’s line. Amal stunned in a skin-hugging black jumpsuit that exposes one shoulder.

The Daily Mail fashion writer, Nola Ojomu, was suitably impressed.
“It’s by Stella McCartney (natch!) and we love the one-shoulder shape, crochet lace and cropped fit. When teamed with a color pop yellow clutch (also Stella) and a pair of nude court heels, it’s easy to see why Amal has become a style icon.”
Stella McCartney, meanwhile, went for a more downmarket look, according to the Express, wearing skinny jeans, a tailored V-neck sweater, and an orange coat, also from her own line.

By the way, skinny jeans may be a poor choice, at least from a health standpoint, according to this Inquisitr report.
Despite being married to George Clooney, Amal (formerly Alamuddin) is continuing her law career as a human rights lawyer. She’s in London this week arguing on behalf of some 2,000 former residents and their descendants of the Chagos Islands. During the 1960s, the British military claimed sovereignty over the Pacific archipelago and forced the Chagosians into exile.
Fortunately, Amal ditched her skin-tight partying outfit that she wore on her night out with Stella for a more business-appropriate, conservative look in the courtroom.
