Alex Is Alive: ‘Orange Is The New Black’ Season 4 Release Date, Rumors

Orange is the New Black Season 3 hit millions of television sets and screens June 12, and with fans binge-watching the entire season of Orange is the New Black, clamor for Orange is the New Black Season 4 is already getting louder and louder by the day.

For Orange is the New Black fans eager for the next installment of their favorite series, On Location Vacations brings good news. Orange is the New Black cast were already spotted filming for Season 4 at the Rockland Children’s Psych Center in New York on June 15. With the Orange is the New Black cast already hard at work on Season 4, reports reveal that Orange is the New Black Season 4 is set to release summer 2016.

The entirety of Orange is the New Black Season 3 has been slightly lighter compared to Season 2, save for the last few episodes, where OITNB character Alex Vause is ambushed. This leaves Orange is the New Black fans wondering at ill ease if one of our favorite characters will disappear from Season 4. With Nicky gone for the length of Season 3, we surely can’t have another Orange is the New Black favorite gone from the entire season.

Christian Today reveals that Alex Vause is actually alive, but not too well. Orange is the New Black Season 4 will see her trying to escape from the hands of those wanting to dispose of her. Alex will also work hard on seeing the prison security guard relieved of his job.

Known by most fans, the TV series Orange is the New Black is loosely based from the creative non-fiction novel, Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Woman’s Prison by Piper Kerman. If the TV series stays at least a little close to the developments in the book, Alex Vause will not die just yet, since at the moment, the real-life person whom Alex was based from is still alive.

Apart from a lot of Alex Vause in Season 4 of Orange is the New Black, fans are also hoping to see more of Nicky, since she has been missing in action in Season 3. But Taryn Manning, actress behind OITNB character Pennsatucky, says that even the cast are kept in the shadows regarding the script before filming starts. So, everything at this point is as good as guesswork.

But with Season 4 still far on the horizon, there’s one thing to watch out for. Watch out for Orange is the New Black taping in the New York City area from mid-June to October, and maybe we can just find something out to keep ourselves at ease for the time being.
