Drunk Kate Moss Booted Off Plane And Calls Pilot A ‘Basic B***h’
“Cocaine Kate” is at it again. Kate Moss, 41-year-old supermodel, was kicked off a flight for being “disruptive,” according to witnesses aboard the EasyJet flight.
Passengers sharing the flight with Ms. Moss reported that Kate’s disturbing behavior began when she was refused alcohol service by the flight crew. Moss pulled vodka from her carry on luggage and began swigging it after the refusal of alcoholic beverages. Kate’s behavior was upsetting the other passengers to the point that the pilot called ahead to arrange for authorities to meet the plane upon arrival.
“She called the pilot a ‘basic bitch’ as police led her off the plane, she was a little drunk and had a disagreement with another passenger on the flight as she was refused alcohol and then went to serve her own vodka from her cabin luggage,” one of the passengers, seated near Ms. Moss, reported. “But she was not aggressive to anyone and was funny really, the easyJet crew was acting out of proportion.”
Ms. Moss had been flying back home from Bodrum, Turkey, where Moss and friends had been celebrating the birthday of 50-year-old actress Sadie Frost.
Another passenger stated that Kate was accompanied by friends and that, together, the group of women were creating a considerable disturbance.
“As we left the plane, Kate and her friends were stood with police and another passenger was stood separately talking to another officer. This lady was then complaining to other passengers in the baggage hall about Kate. Kate and her friends then arrived in baggage claim.”
Police responding to the scene would not confirm or deny the identity of the person creating the mid-flight disturbance, even though a number of passengers had already identified Ms. Moss as being at the center of the raucous.
“We were called to assist staff in escorting a passenger from a flight arriving into Luton airport this afternoon. The passenger had been reported as being disruptive on the flight,” a police spokesman said. “Officers attended and escorted the passenger from the plane.”
This was not the first time Kate Moss has been involved in drug and alcohol related scandals. In the early 2000s, Ms. Moss was dating British rocker Pete Doherty, and the two frequently made headlines with their public drug-related incidents. In 2005, Moss earned the nickname “Cocaine Kate,” when British tabloids published photos of the supermodel snorting a white powder through rolled up bank notes. The pictures caused Kate to lose modeling contracts with companies like Burberry and H&M.
Following that incident, Kate Moss released statements through her modeling agency, Storm Model Management, apologizing for her behavior.
“I take full responsibility for my actions,” she said, adding that she was sorry to “all the people I have let down.”
