Roloff Divorce: Matt Comments On ‘Little People, Big World’ News
After being separated for more than a year, the Little People, Big World split is becoming permanent. News of an Amy and Matt Roloff divorce has now been made public, and the couple has issued a statement. In addition to the official statement, Matt has taken to his Facebook page to add a personal thank you to the show’s fans.
For fans of Little People, Big World, news of the Roloff divorce doesn’t necessarily come as a big shock. Matt and Amy have struggled in their relationship for some time now and that was clearly apparent during the last couple of seasons of the show in particular. Viewers watched as the two decided to separate and have Matt move into the family farm guest house.
As was previously reported by the Inquisitr, the Roloff divorce was confirmed via a statement from the couple. People shared the statement that indicated that the Little People, Big World stars were divorcing after 27 years of marriage. The stars say that it was with great sadness that they reveal the difficult decision, and they are proud of what they accomplished in their time together.
After the Roloff divorce announcement was made, Matt added a bit of additional information on his Facebook page. He thanked everybody for how loving, kind, and supportive they have been, and he added that he wanted to thank everybody for how warm they’ve continued to be toward the family. Fans have definitely been supportive on Matt’s page, with many lending kind words and others sharing their sadness that the couple has decided they needed to move forward with a divorce.
As Matt said, the couple is “working together feverishly to prepare to celebrate Zach and Tori’s wedding this July.” The wedding date is only a few weeks away, and it sounds as if there most certainly will be cameras there to capture it all. Matt recently confirmed that the family has been filming with TLC for more new episodes, so it seems viewers will get to see Zach and Tori’s wedding just as they got to see Jeremy and Audrey’s last fall.
Jeremy and Audrey have shared that things are going quite well for them, and they have been back on the farm filming for the new episodes as well. The family was at the TLC block party in Philadelphia recently, and nearly everybody was in attendance and having a blast. Both Matt and Amy have shared some photos of the event on their Facebook pages. While Jacob wasn’t able to make it, the rest of the family was there and seemingly had a great time.
While the Roloff divorce certainly brings forth a difficult time for the family, they clearly have a lot to celebrate these days as well. New episodes of Little People, Big World begin again soon on TLC and fans cannot wait to catch up with Matt, Amy, Jeremy, Audrey, Zach, Tori, Molly, and Jacob once again.
