Nicki Minaj’s Breakup: At Whom Did She Aim The ‘Blew It’ Post? Meek Or Safaree?
Nicki Minaj left her recent posts in total ambiguity. And of course, that was the intention. But to whom was it all directed? Meek Mill or Safaree? Whose story is true?
Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have been seen in photos, very much in love. At least, that’s the perception that’s painted in the images. They’ve declared their love for each other several times over.
It would be very strange for things to suddenly be “done” between the two — though, not impossible. Things happen in life, including ever-lasting mistakes.
Immediately after Onika posted her “saluting” picture, people just-as-quickly began cheering and letting their real thoughts be known about Minaj’s recent boyfriend, Meek Mill. Sadly, the couple went from being “the cutest couple” to “you could do better” — on both sides.
While these quick responders feel that Nicki has broken it off with him, it’s as if they’ve not taken the time to look at it from another perspective. It could very well be the case that Minaj was stating her gratefulness that Safaree blew it, giving her the chance to find Meek.
Be that as it may, after the initial photo, she posted two more — one more to express the past relationship experience and another expressing “I’ll hold you doooowwwwwnnnnn.” However, it does make a person wonder why Nicki would be in front of a mirror crying, currently, over an ex-boyfriend if she’s happy in a new relationship, right? And is that supposed to be Safaree or Meek in the background of the photo?
While people have enjoyed the couple’s publicity, it’s not known whether her antics were toward Safaree, for sure. However, speculation points to both.
The kicker is this: A few days before Nicki posted, Meek took to Instagram, saying that bosses have feelings, too. And before that, he posted that people lack morals when it comes to money. And though Minaj loves him, she’s definitely still career-oriented, as well. Was that preceding post dedicated to her?
According to Mirror, the medium implies that the couple (ex-couple) are/were engaged. However, the Fader quotes Meek Mill — in an exclusive interview — as stating that the two are not engaged.
“It’s definitely real. But it ain’t really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.”
The engagement confusion came forth after Nicki posted a photo on her Instagram of a new ring. It looked a lot like an engagement ring of sorts. Regardless, in Meek’s own words, he let it be know that it’s simply untrue.
He also noted that his grandmother was calling him about it. He said, “Whatever she sees on TV, she believes.” Honestly, Meek wouldn’t lie to Grammy, right?
However, to digress — concerning the alleged breakup — are both parties to blame? It’s often said that there are three sides to a story — “my side,” “your side,” and the truth.
Though Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are celebrities, they still deal with the same emotions that perplex most every other person. Status is only that, “status.” The problems still exist like in everyone else’s relationships. And usually, neither side likes to look like the guilty party.
