Nebraska Woman Takes Over For God, Sues All Gay People On Earth — Yes, All Of Them
A Nebraska woman who claims she represents God is suing every homosexual person on Earth in federal court and has also asked the judge to decide whether homosexuality is a sin.
Sylvia Driskell, 66, will represent herself in Driskell v. Homosexuals and has submitted a brief to the court that includes no case law whatsoever, but does reference the bible and Webster’s Dictionary, according to Time.
Her seven page brief, hand written in cursive, to federal Judge John M. Gerrard explains that as the representative of “God and His Son, Jesus Christ” on earth, she is suing all homosexuals for breaking “religious and moral laws.”
Driskell told NBC News she is suing the world’s homosexuals to protect our “Great Nation” and “Our Great State of Nebraska.”
“That homosexuality is a sin and that they the homosexuals know it is a sin to live a life of homosexuality. Why else would they have been hiding in the closet.”
Driskell’s handwritten petition denouncing the world’s homosexuals is riddled with spelling and punctuation mistakes like this one.
“Ambassador: I Sylvia Ann Driskell write, As well, we also know that if a child is raised in the home of liers, An deceivers, And thieves that it is reasonable to believe that child will grow up to be one of the three, are all three. [sic]”
Gay activist Dan Savage noticed he was being sued and immediately tweeted out his willingness to be deposed, which is a good thing because even though she’s suing millions, Driskell has issued no summons and listed no witnesses.
Meanwhile, in a humorous response, Steven Payne wrote in the Daily Kos that he and his partner would be liquidating their assets prior to trial and worried the lawsuit would bankrupt them.
“We anticipate the restitution ordered to this woman will take us down to our very last penny. In the meantime, our fear is so great we have ceased and desisted being homosexual.”
At least Driskell’s anti-homosexual court case isn’t as drastic as California’s “Kill the Gays” ballot initiative being circulated by attorney Matt McLaughlin.
The Sodomite Suppression Act proposes to kill “by bullets to the head or any other convenient method” any gay or homosexual person in California to protect the state from God’s Sodom and Gomorrha-like retribution.
At least we can expect that ballot initiative to face a difficult challenge in becoming law, as California Attorney General Kamala Harris said the bill threatens public safety.
We’ll have to wait and see how Driskell and her court case against all homosexuals on planet earth proceeds. She filed her petition in local court Tuesday and it may take some time to reach around the world.
