National Lampoon’s ‘Vacation’ Reboot And Sequel Gets First Red-Band Trailer – Walley World, Here We Come

A new generation of Griswolds is heading out on the road and on their way to Walley World in the red-band trailer for Vacation . Please let it be known that it is red-band for a reason, and it is NSFW for watch it when you can and find out how the latest road trip to Walley World starts out and gets going.

The reboot and sequel for the 1983 comedy classic starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo takes on the travels of a grown-up Rusty Griswold ( Ed Helms ), 30 years after the original family trip. He now has his own family as Christina Applegate plays his wife and Leslie Mann has come into the franchise to play his sister Audrey.

Rusty has two children of his own and wants to relive the vacation that his family took so many years ago. There are some hilarious inside jokes in the trailer which pokes a little fun at the first Vacation and how long ago it was released, per Coming Soon .

For those that are fans of the Vacation franchise, you won’t be disappointed. This film is obviously and totally rated a hard “R” for a good reason. The red-band trailer shows that there are a lot of dirty jokes and no punches pulled, just like in the 1983 comedy.

As referenced by Spinoff Online , there are some interesting cameos in the film and that includes Chris Hemsworth. You really just need to watch the trailer to get the full comedy of it and understand it totally.

“The next generation of Griswolds is at it again. New Line Cinema’s Vacation , starring Ed Helms ( The Hangover films) and Christina Applegate (the Anchorman films), takes the family on the road for another ill-fated adventure. The film marks Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley’s directorial debut.

“Following in his father’s footsteps and hoping for some much-needed family bonding, a grown-up Rusty Griswold (Helms) surprises his wife, Debbie (Applegate), and their two sons with a cross-country trip back to America’s ‘favorite family fun park,’ Walley World.”

Vacation also stars Steele Stebbins, Nick Kroll, Charlie Day, Regina Hall, Skyler Gisondo, Keegan-Michael Key, and others. It is set to hit theaters on July 31, but this red-band trailer is just the beginning of what could be to come fro the Griswolds.
