‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Season 7 Top 3: Did Pandora Boxx Spoil The Big Surprise? (Spoilers)

It is another week closer to one queen being crowned as the Drag Superstar. With only five queens left on RuPaul’s Drag Race, the end is looming ever closer. There may be two more weeks left until the big finale, but some past queens may slipping a fans a hint at who could be the top three of Season 7.

Since her appearance in Season 2 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Pandora Boxx has garnered quite the internet following. Her Facebook is followed by a staggering 373,000 people; she has definitely made her name known since competing on the show.

When Pandora posted an unassuming flier for a Drag show on June 28th, the advertisement had one glaring graphic. Three of the five current DragRace contestants are blatantly showcased. The three queens are complete with their own photoshopped crowns.

Your eyes do not deceive you: the queens that are prominently displayed are Ginger Minj, Pearl Laison, and Violet Chachki. Pandora Boxx posted the flier on May 5, and it is definitely getting some attention from her fans.

Some fans are happy about the top three, but others are shocked not to see Katya in among the best. One Facebook user served up her reasoning behind this alleged Drag Race Top 3.

“Oh for Pete’s sake. Katya goes home because hilarious but uninspiring drag. Then top four is these chicks and Kennedy. Then Kennedy sashays away because pageant aesthetics. The. Statistical analysis says all things being equal Ginger wins because 3 wins and time for a chubby queen to ‘win’ because because. Also [V]iolet is nothing but pretty and Pearl is nothing according to the show narrative.”

That’s a pretty sound theory. A plus-size queen has yet to win RuPaul’s Drag Race, so it is “time” for it to happen. However, Ginger does have a lot going for her, if she were to become top queen. She has, as Gretchen stated, won at least three challenges and can obviously work the runway. But she has also lip-synced twice now.

Though not everyone would like to see The Minj win.

That leaves the other two: Pearl and Violet. Violet has been consistent throughout the show. It wasn’t until the “Prancing With The Queens” episode that she really bloomed with the half-drag ensemble. She was a late bloomer, but has she impressed the Drag Race judges enough?

The other candidate, based on the flier, is Pearl Liaison. Her laid back attitude has garnered a lot of negative criticisms from the judges. However, she has also been able to impress the important people a time or two. Does she really have all that it takes to represent what RuPaul’s Drag Race is all about? How does she stack up against previous winners?
