‘Dance Moms’ Star Maddie Ziegler Heads To ‘Dancing With The Stars’
The Dancing With the Stars results show returns this week, and Dance Moms fans are definitely going to want to tune in to check it out. Maddie Ziegler will be performing on the May 5 show alongside Josh Groban. What’s the scoop?
Many DWTS fans are still mourning the shocking elimination of Willow Shields and Mark Ballas last week, but there are big eliminations to come this week as well. It’s double elimination week, and that should be taking place on Tuesday’s show. Monday night brings new performances from the remaining six couples, with the always-entertaining trio dances on the docket.
When it comes to Tuesday’s results show, DWTS fans know that it’ll be an episode where the eliminations are stretched out painfully slowly. As viewers wait to see which couples will move on to the semi-finals, Dance Moms star Maddie Ziegler will perform and viewers will get to see Josh Groban and Carly Rae Jepsen as well, teases the show’s Twitter page.
This isn’t Maddie’s first Dancing With the Stars appearance. As USA Today shred last fall, Ziegler performed her routine to Sia’s “Chandelier” alongside DWTS pro Allison Holker. Maddie and Sia have done a lot of work together this past year, but now Dance Moms fans are excited to see Maddie dancing in another type of piece.
Fans will have to tune in Tuesday to see just what she has prepared, but it looks like she was having some fun during her preparations. Both Maddie and DWTS pro Derek Hough posted photos to Instagram of the two having a bit of fun. They joked that they were practicing contemporary eyeball dancing, and it seems Derek’s getting a bit punchy as he’s sidelined with his injuries.
Who will go home this week on Dancing With the Stars? Many are betting that Chris Soules and Robert Herjavec are the most likely to be eliminated. However, there is room for a shocker yet again like what happened with Willow.
A lot of DWTS fans have been thinking that a semi-final with Nastia Liukin, Rumer Willis, Riker Lynch and Noah Galloway seems most likely. However, it’s entirely possible that either Robert or Chris will edge out one of the contenders, and the PureDWTS crew seems to think that Rumer may not be as safe as many assume.
