Leah Remini Claims Sharon Osbourne Had Her Fired From ‘The Talk’
When Leah Remini was first let go in September from the daytime talk show, appropriately titled, The Talk rumors ran rampant that it was co-host Julie Chen.
Well now Remini is setting the record straight and finally discussing what went down, and the answer is that co-host Sharon Osbourne got her fired from The Talk.
Remini took to Twitter tweeting:
“Sharon thought me and Holly were “Ghetto” (her words) we were not funny, awkward, and didn’t know ourselves.”
After a fan pointed out to Leah that Sharon was quoted as “missing Leah and Holly”, Remini further elaborated and tweeted back, “She only said that after ppl called her out on it. Acting. She said she was the reason we were let go. Howard Stern show.”
This response followed another fan’s disbelief and Leah tweeted again saying:
“Yes. She had us fired she told Howard Stern. Explains why she never called us back.”
Of course this Twitter storm of tweets ignited a rather open response from Sharon Osbourne.

When Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete were first fired from The Talk it was said that co-host Julie Chen had the two fired, given her clout with husband and president of the network Len Moonves. Back in September Holly Robinson Peete had blogged about the firing writing:
“After weeks in limbo, I was finally ‘officially’ given word from CBS today that I have not been picked up for the 2nd season of ‘The Talk.’ I realize there have been several reports and ‘leaks’ for sometime to this effect but until today I was not contractually released which prevented me from moving on and finding other work.”
As for Leah Remini’s future she just got picked up for an ABC comedy pilot called White Van Man.
