Dorinda Medley Respects Bethenny Frankel: ‘Bethenny Knows What She Wants’

The Real Housewives of New York star Dorinda Medley is brand new to the show, but since she knows Ramona Singer, she can handle the drama on the show. As a single mother who is dating a dry cleaner, fans love this breath of fresh air. And it sounds like Dorinda respects the many different women on the show, including the abrasive Bethenny Frankel.

Of course, Dorinda Medley is very different from Singer and Frankel. Many people love the fact that she is dating a dry cleaner and doesn’t go for the healthy millionaire. Dorinda wants a strong connection with her date, and it sounds like these two do get along great.

According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of New York star Dorinda Medley is now speaking out about her experiences on the show, including her first impression of Bethenny Frankel. Apparently, Medley has been hanging out with Frankel, and she recently went to visit Bethenny at her new apartment. Dorinda appears to respect her new co-star and everything she stands for.

“Bethenny invited me to see the new apartment on Twitter on Tuesday night, and I’m so excited. Looks like a really great pad. B knows what she wants, how she wants it, and when she wants it. I admire that tremendously,” Dorinda Medley has revealed about Bethenny, adding about her interior design skills, “I need her to come up to the Berkshires with me and help me shake things up. I think her new SoHo apartment is even nicer than the TriBeCa apartment from the pictures I’ve seen. I’m can’t wait to go visit.”

Of course, some of the housewives were surprised to see Dorinda Medley’s boyfriend at Beautique without her. As Sonja Morgan pointed out, the ladies hadn’t invited her to come out because she wasn’t single. So when he showed up without her late at night, some of the ladies were questioning his motives. But Medley trusts him.

“I am always excited to take some time out and meet John up for a lunch or a drink, if our paths can cross between meetings and errands. It’s true, we don’t live together, and we don’t see each other every day, but because of that, I want to make the most of our time together. I love him, and he makes me happy,” Dorinda points out.

Dorinda Medley hasn’t really opened up about losing her husband on the show. According to the Inquisitr, Medley’s deceased husband died from liver failure in 2011. The death was tough on Medley, who was truly in love with her husband.
